We rested with friends from 15.03 to 25.03 (this is according to the documents, but in fact on 24 we left the hotel at 21.30 on 24.03). In general, our mood was spoiled from the very beginning by our unique company Aerosvit (for the umpteenth time I swear to fly with them! ). A day before departure, we were informed that the return flight was postponed from 27.03 (we had paid for it in January) to 25.03. Complaints are not accepted, the only thing we could do was to refuse the trip, while the money would not be returned to us. In short, you feel like an absolutely disenfranchised sucker, who is being bred once again.
Now for the good stuff - rest. We flew normally, changed money at the airport, bought a local SIM card "Dialogue" for 10 USD, it was enough for the whole vacation, despite the fact that a day later we called Kyiv. It took a little over 3 hours to get to the hotel. Settled quickly (they do not wait until 14-00, as in Turkey or Egypt). The room is normal, quite big, we had 211-212. The peculiarity of all the rooms is dirty windows and practically non-working air conditioners. We turned on the fan and slept with the window open, and during the day we simply did not appear in the room. A very large, 2-room suite was given to our friends (there were 3 of them) for a purely symbolic fee of 5 USD. The food is normal (we had breakfast, dinner). They ate pineapple. Ocean delight! More often they swam (or rather jumped) behind the rocks - there are smaller waves. The greatest pleasure in this trip is the ocean. We went to Bentota (turtle farm, spice garden, river safari). River safari - 35 USD for the boat - do not give more. We were first broken by 20 from the nose, and we are 7 people! But in the end they took us for 5 per person. You need to trade everywhere. The prices are unthinkable. We went to Kandy and Sigiriya with Jivan (a lot was written about him on the net). Paid 150 per person. The trip is cool, he fulfilled everything he promised, very beautiful places. But....Do not expect a full-fledged excursion from him. It gives very little information - there is a picture, but there is no sound). They also went with him to Galle and on another river safari. He brought the same parsley, said "look" and that's it... They took 3 kg of shrimp from Jeevan. Pretty tasty but not cheap. In general, seafood, for some reason, is not at all cheap. And in general, you constantly feel like a "cash cow" - pay everyone, a lot and nothing. It was stressful. We went to Bentota for the so-called shopping. Low quality items. They didn't buy anything except scarves and pareos. And, again, bargain. In Sri Lanka, we bought tea, and in the spice garden (with Jivan) we collected oils and cosmetics.
We flew back with our "beloved" Aerosvit in a plane filled to capacity. But they flew))).

I re-read the review - it turned out to be evil. Although the rest, in general, were satisfied. But the second time I will fly here, only if they give me this tour. Although they say that it is not necessary to compare, it is better in Tae!
