We rested at the Induruwa Beach Hotel in February 2014 with a group of 7 people.
The hotel is quiet, comfortable, with friendly staff, spacious rooms and good breakfasts. We recommend it for people who want to relax away from the hustle, noise and annoying shopkeepers. Although the ocean is very restless, you can safely go to this hotel with children, because. on the right there is a small bay, where there are practically no waves and shallow. A lot of exotic fruits and seafood, all this can be bought in a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride at the bazaar in Bentota. Purchased fish, shrimp, squid will be happy to cook for you at the hotel or in a nearby cafe on the beach (to the right of the hotel) for 200 rupees / kg. You will find tuk-tuks at the exit of the hotel on the left side, there are always a lot of them. A trip to Bentota costs 200 rupees there / back, but among the tuk-tukers there are also scammers who change their name every three days so as not to get negative reviews, but more often they are called the already well-known Kesha or Champik (who have very good recommendations). We ran into such a swindler on the very first day, we went to Bentota for 1000 rupees, and also brought it to a store where rum is 2500 (the normal price of rum is 1450). But already in the evening we met a wonderful guy named Champika (but we just said Champik without a ? ). Very pleasant, decent: he took us to local shops, where everything was without markups, bought us fruits and rum at real prices, like for locals. For example, tea in shops for tourists is 3-4 times more expensive than in the store where he drove us. He also organizes any tour at a price without cheating. Highly recommend it, 100% satisfied.
