The choice of the hotel fell due to the recommendations of the travel agency. when we were going to the SHL, we were guided by the fact that we would be on the ocean all day and didn’t plan to give a lot of money for a room for an overnight stay, . . and during the excursions we also stayed at 4 Chaaya hotels, the standard and deluxe rooms were simply chic, spacious, friendly staff and food is also cool. and upon arrival in Kalutara, our Deluxe room in Tangerine turned out to be small, only 10 sq. m, the furniture was old. type of food HB and for breakfast just fried bacon (all 7 days), chicken sausages, several options for cooking scrambled eggs... , dinner was much better and in assortment (cooked meat, fish, rice, vegetables, lasagna (pocket, meat) , but another minus all the time the queues in the restaurant; the staff does not know anything, in complete relaxation; the tapchans on the beach are old...
DO NOT CHOOSE TANGERINE - it's an average 3!!!
The island itself is wonderful, beautiful, we bought excursions in Kyiv - they did not regret it, all 3 days passed like in a fairy tale, only the guide was not very talkative, all the time they themselves asked about this and that...
