We rested in Sri Lanka in October, and I decided to write a review just now. The hotel is located on the ocean, a very beautiful area, immersed in greenery. Chipmunks roam freely around the hotel, sometimes even monitor lizards drop by. There is a children's pool, which is important, because for me swimming in the ocean was sheer torture. Very strong waves, it was impossible to swim normally. There are not many children in the hotel. A lot of Slavs, Germans and Poles. The room is spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The room has a mini-bar, refrigerator, kettle and tea, hair dryer and air conditioning, safe. The staff is friendly, speaking both English and even a little Russian. Room cleaning every day. The only negative is the weak or non-existent Wi-Fi in the room. The cuisine is excellent, you just need to choose carefully, because there are a lot of very spicy dishes. Therefore, you need to pay attention to the sharp mark. A very varied menu, a lot of fruits and vegetables, all kinds of wonderful pastries and amazing ice cream. I did not eat such ice cream even during the union. Everything is very delicious. There was even a lot of three meals a day. Could have done with breakfast and dinner. There are small cafes around the hotel, behind the neighboring hotel on the ocean there is a small cafe where you can try lobster inexpensively. The owner of the cafe is very nice and friendly person. Tuk-tuks are available at the hotel gate. Outside the hotel is a completely different life. The city is very dirty and noisy, with erratic traffic. Walking is dangerous even on the sidewalk. Very obsessive people who only want "mani". It seems that every person you meet works in a hotel and knows you. Moreover, he strives to offer you something for money. But all this fades against the backdrop of the beauty of the island. The beauty of nature is amazing, a completely different culture and of course the picturesque architecture of ancient temples. It is better to buy tea in special tea shops. Having tried the taste of real tea, then it is already difficult to drink ordinary tea from the supermarket. Souvenirs in shops near the hotel are much more expensive, and the choice is not very good. Vacation is amazing! We will definitely come back here.
