Good afternoon everyone! We were going to Sri Lanka for a long time and studied all the resorts, we wanted to go to the south coast where the ocean is not muddy, but with turquoise water... I liked Eva Lanka and Ranna in hotels, but we were not confirmed by these hotels and had to book, which was confirmed instantly so we got into Tangerine... We flew with the Windrose. During the flight, they did not feed, but served tea, coffee, water, juices, which pleased.
At the airport they changed the money to USD = 125... The hotel is quite close to the airport, but it takes 3.5 hours to go. Upon arrival at the hotel, they settled quickly, treated us to a friendly drink and went to check in, the room was 133, it is very convenient that it is on the 1st floor close to the pool. I liked everything very much in the room. Air conditioning, minibar, TV, hair dryer. Everything is clean, tidy and comfortable. In the room every day they changed a tablet (like fumitox) from mosquitoes and cleaned every day. The territory is green, clean, there are enough sunbeds and they were free. The hotel has a pond with goldfish, the staff tries very hard, they polish and wash everything, coconut palms, badgers, monitor lizards grow on the territory, roam between palm trees....Beach towels free, issued near the pool. The pool is clean except for flying leaves from the trees. Kitchen. You will not stay hungry))) An abundance of fruits, there is always something from curry and ordinary food, a lot of delicious sweets.
We swam mainly in the ocean, although there were strong waves, you can always find free sunbeds near the pool.

There are two seafood restaurants nearby - Relax and Lily, where we dined . . the prices are adequate for everything.
After dinner, we went to the bar there for more fun, sometimes there are shows, or just live music. There really is nothing to do there, but not one evening we did not lie in the room and we were not bored; if you want classes, there will always be, plus we were lucky with the company of guys with whom we flew in. And outside the territory there is nothing, local shops close early.
Excursions: You should always go in a group, but no more than 6 people. We managed to go on two excursions: Galle and a one-day excursion to Kandy. Excursions can be ordered from locals... You can take Nuvan as a guide, the guy speaks excellent Russian, we went with him only in Gale -I liked it very much, and regretted that we did not go with him to Kandy. A one-day excursion to Kandy cost $ 70 per person, five people went, looked at the elephants and rode (2000 rupees), then watched the bathing of elephants, then went to the botanical garden, saw tea plantations, then there was the temple of the tooth of the Buddha was not very impressed, I liked the sitting one more buddha in Bentota. In Galle it was much more interesting, we went with Nuvan, a very interesting guide and person, he conducts excursions super, he knows a lot of things, as a rule, he can be found in Relax... they paid $ 30 for Galle . . After Galle they were so called "wild beach", with turquoise water and a calm ocean, where there are not so many people as in Unawatuna, we dined in a wonderful cafe with a beautiful view.
I remember a tuk-tuk trip to Bentota with brother Nuvan-Neluk... he took us first to Bentota and had a tour there, then we drove to Kalutara to the Temple of the Buddha's Foot . . there he also spoke in great detail and interestingly about the life of the Sri Lankans... then I took him to a liquor store for rum and bought fruit along the way. . took 1000 rupees for everything. . . Many thanks to the guys for the rest. . .

I will not compare Sri Lanka with other countries. Each country is magnificent in its own way, but Sri Lanka is the country where you want to come back again!! !
