Sri Lanka was chosen quite by accident. The hotel was not previously studied, the reviews were not read - we just went further, which would be unusual and ours would be smaller. The pleasure was indescribable. The part of the hotel where we lived is the quietest and closest to the Ayurvedic complex. From the balcony you can see the ocean, which is somewhat stormy all the time. You don't have to look at the weather forecast before leaving. We swam in the sea and in the sun, and without it and in the rain - the water is always equally warm and it is always comfortable to get out of the water. The Sri Lankans are very friendly to tourists, we can do everything there (even the road to cross where we want, despite their frantically chaotic slow movement with constant fa-fa). No one will offend a tourist, but divorce is not something that is the norm, but even, as it were, the duty of the local population. We did not pay extra for a room, not for improved conditions - we simply accepted what was offered. And everyone was satisfied. In the next five there were entertainment events, music played in the evening, but all this did not bother. The cuisine is probably still monotonous, but rather because of their traditional spices and our culinary passions. . There was no stale food. And the fruits in Sri Lanka (except for pineapples and rambutans) are just not like that. We went on a tour with a group only once. After that, we decided to look at the sights separately and without the crowd. We met a boy on the beach (his name is Nilyuk), he speaks very good Russian. He then took us both to Colomba and on a safari along the river and to Galle Fort. Wonderful scourge. So if you want a fairy tale, exotic and other culture - you will like Sri Lanka. And they probably don’t look for some kind of super service in such countries - relax in Turkey with all-inclusive.
