We chose for a long time where to go....I really wanted to go to Sri Lanka, but all the travel agencies strongly frightened us (warned) that it was OFF SEASON !! ! we were from 07/30/2013 to 08/11/13... during all this time twice in the evening, after sunset (and sunsets there at 18.00 !! ! according to their local time) it rained for 10 minutes and one time all day, but we were on excursions, in fact, the rain did not bother us)) so, either we were lucky, or they have such a pleasant OFF-SEASON!!!
the average temperature was + 28-30... the humidity is very pleasant) although, I felt it right away at the airport, but I immediately got used to it. money should be changed at the airport, immediately upon arrival. or the local guys. in otlel course is not profitable.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean! and the hotel itself - COLORFUL! really - special) the territory is large, very clean! every day everything is carefully cleaned there. . . umbrellas, chaise longues, towels - everything is at the disposal of the guests! I am glad that local merchants did not enter the territory, but only stood behind the fence. everything that previous authors wrote about breakfasts - I just agree not to paint everything) everything was varied and tasty! and about lunches and dinners....we were in three cafes on the shore, and then, one evening, we accidentally went to the restaurant "Natalya"....it is located in front of the entrance to the hotel gate on the left....such a lilac one) there we spent the rest of our holiday (lunches and dinners). met the owner of this establishment, his name is Dani (Danuka Silva). the man showed us Sri Lanka in all its glory!! ! showed us how the locals live and how they live! we spent evenings with his family - wife, children (he has three of them), brothers, etc. one evening, when Dani arranged a party for our friends (they had a wedding anniversary), even his mother came... the whole cafe was decorated, balloons, fireworks, music, flowers... ))) in general, the party was a success! ! ! we also went on excursions with him (Naura Eliya, Kandy, Colombo, Gale, lagoons, waterfall....). when we said goodbye to Dani's family before leaving, we cried.....
in short, we fell in love with Sri Lanka!
