Guys, this review is not only about the hotel, but also about the island, the people I saw there. The entire text is written from the soul of a person - to people.
Let's start with the hotel, upon arrival we were settled in a budget room, leaving which the ocean was not visible, but it was within walking distance of 5 minutes directly to the very water in the ocean.
For a budget room, the room is not bad, there are: a toilet, a shower, air conditioning, a triple bed, a table, a TV, sockets.
In the hotel itself, the food is mediocre, be careful, it’s better to take it without dinner, my advice to you, below I will talk about cafes and they are much tastier.
We originally planned to go to another room, so the next morning we agreed with the manager and soon moved to a better room, which, as many here say: OCEAN VIEW.

Yes, yes, as in the pictures, we are all not joking here in the comments, and the fact that there are NO people on the beach is also true, well, or there are very few of them, we can’t even believe it ourselves, the beach is long, and there are practically no people on it. It's unrealistically cool.
The new room, by the way, compared to the one in which we settled earlier, has more space, tables, chairs, and in general the aesthetic side of the room, it seems to me, is much more conducive to relaxation)
There are also two pools (for children and adults) near the doors of the rooms that look out over the ocean.
In general, if you take this version of the room, you will not regret it, take it. Well, it's cool, you go out and immediately the ocean, one of the main joys of Sri Lanka, whatever one may say) IIII also this sound of waves at night is a fairy tale)
Now about the staff. Everyone walks light, smiles, humors, you can chat with them about the weather or other things that interest you. I didn’t see any harmful ones, gloomy ones too, and this creates an interesting atmosphere of relaxation, when no one puts pressure on you and wants nothing from you except for a smile in response) This is me in the sense that you walk and smile, because everything is there measured and conducive to this.
I would like to write a separate article about my guide friend Patum, hi Patum if you are reading this. He's a really cool dude.
He speaks Russian well, he is a guide, he took us to interesting places, all sorts of plateaus, waterfalls.
He advised good cafes, took us there, brought us from there, really light, kind, witty and always coming back.
He talked about the island, about the people, about the economy.
When we went to the city with him, he told us the history of this city, took us to different cool places, to the former fort of the city and further along the souvenir shops) By the way, the shops, of course, are interesting, but I didn’t really want to bring anything from these shops : ( so, on trifles)
PATUUUUUUUUM! ) and he brought food to our room, it was really cool, and it’s clear that this was not for the sake of buying excursions, because he did this before and after them.

Really. Obviously, without him it would be much more difficult, but with him in a warm atmosphere as a friend came : D
Thanks to the hotel and special thanks to Patum! ), for excursions, live communication and hospitality)
And these tuk tuks are funny and the traffic there is frantic) I immediately warn you. And the food is delicious, I liked it, lobsters, coral fish, shark steak and so on.
There is one cafe there, you leave the hotel, turn immediately to the right, and there it stands, just walk twenty meters, RIGHT, NOT LEFT. In short - rock on. They speak Russian, there is a menu in our native language, the dishes are delicious, well, what else do you need, huh? )
In general, I liked the food there, and any dish that I would not have ordered there - I liked it and I ate it on both cheeks)
Who read to the end - a lot of work has been done, comrades. But it's definitely worth going there at least once. ! ) Good luck and all the best!!!! )
