Just got back from Sri Lanka. The country is wonderful, but the hotel left a very mixed impression.
Before going to the hotel, we read a lot of reviews and therefore we did not pay attention to the mark of the room with a garden view, because. everyone wrote that it was easy to agree on a change of number on the spot. This is not true! We were offered to pay but $100 per night and then we were moved.
So the numbers. The first room had no kettle, no TV, no safe. We need to change the number. Second. The shower does not work, the water in the sink does not drain, there is no safe. And finally number 3. At first glance, everything was decent here, but the problems began a little later....
As for the staff, in general we are satisfied with all but one shift at the reception. Everyone else is very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel area is very nice. There is where to roam and of course a huge plus is a long beach several kilometers long. The hotel has a lot of security and therefore you feel confident. The food is good, there is European food, and spicy for everyone. The pools are very chlorinated, which makes the water very cloudy.
A separate topic is the SPA at the hotel.
The first time I turned to them when my face was burned to blisters. I thought it would be a terrible sight, but the guys from the spa smeared me with some kind of cream and after 2 days everything was gone.
The second visit to them was associated with insect bites. We were constantly bitten by something, and as it seemed to us it was at night in the room. All legs are blistered and itchy terribly. And again, the guys from the spa anointed us with oils from which the itch immediately subsided and forced the room service to put the room in order. It turned out that from time to time insects infest their beds, which are not visible but bite strongly.
And so, under the pleasant impression of their work, I decided to sign up for Ayurveda for the head. It's called shirodara. Oil is poured on the head for about 40 minutes, then the head is massaged for 20 minutes. I had a procedure done by a girl named Chandani. I did not expect that such a fragile girl would have such strong hands. I really liked it. Done professionally, pleasantly and at a price))))
In general, I hope that we were just unlucky with the rooms, but otherwise the rest was a success.
