We rested in Unatawatuna Beach from 06/11/2010 to 10/11/2010 with my wife and two sisters. Prior to that, they were on a four-day tour of the country. In Dambul and Kandy, according to the program, we stayed overnight at the Chaiya Village and Chaiya Citadel hotels (I highly recommend it, because in terms of the level of service, amenities and the surrounding beauty of the landscapes, they exceeded all expectations). When choosing a hotel, first of all we wanted to visit the south of the country, swim with a mask in the quiet lagoons of the ocean, go to the Galle Fort (10 minutes by tuk-tuk). We didn’t really hope for the quality of the hotel, so when we got into it, we weren’t particularly upset. I was not pleased with the lack of a hair dryer in the room, ball coffee and tea, buzzing like an air conditioner TU-134 engine (which, at our request, was repaired twice, because water flowed from it into the room). In addition, the food was not at all pleasing (in the morning and in the evening: sausages, eggs, potatoes and rice, and everything else is curry), having once refused paid drinks at dinner, apparently offended the waiter very much, because he began to ignore us and tried move to another table. Although, at the same time, sweets were present in abundance (which comforted the girls) and moderately fruits. But the highlight of the hotel is its location. The shore is really protected by a reef ridge and swimming in the ocean is a pleasure, although you will not see coral fish near the shore. In addition, there is not a single scourge! Walking to the left along the beach you will find a beautiful and quiet lagoon, where you can sour in the water for hours, and walking along the beach to the right and passing through the streets, climb a rock with a Buddhist temple. There are just bomb pictures. Having taken plenty of pictures and swimming in the ocean, the last 4 days of rest were spent at the Eden Hotel in Burruwell. There is definitely a level! Dinner included crabs, oysters, shrimp, a huge pool, a room and new furniture. But being in the indicated hotel, they never entered the ocean (it was stormy all the time), and they didn’t really walk along the beach, since it’s quite difficult to fight off beach-fights. In general, everything is fine, exotic is really on the face, but in my opinion once is enough. Next time I'll go to Egypt.
