They don't allow early check in even though we asked for it at booking. com. My husband and I went to Vilnius for the first time to celebrate my birthday. After a tiring overnight trip to Vilnius, when we arrived frozen at the hotel at 11 am, the reception staff were unfriendly and aggressive. At our request to check us in a little earlier, or at least leave our suitcases in the room and allow us to change into dry clothes (we were traveling with transfers and it rained all night), we were harshly and sharply told that the hotel was full and there were no vacancies, check-in is possible only at 15.00. At 13.00 we already booked and paid for a city tour, and right after it we already booked a restaurant to celebrate my birthday.
Obviously, at 15.00 we were not able to settle in, because for this we would have to cancel all our plans and bookings. About the lack of free rooms, it is also unclear to me, when we arrived at the hotel, we saw a whole passenger bus (about 30 people) who had already left the hotel.
The staff offered no alternative solutions to this problem: no upgrade to a higher category for a fee, nor the ability to at least change into dry clothes while cleaning the room. We realized that they just didn't want to see us and asked to just leave our suitcases in the luggage room, the staff gave us the key to a small and rather dirty room where we left our luggage.

Naturally, the festive mood was spoiled, because we could not even get warm, change clothes after the rain and the road, and we had to walk all day like this, including celebrating in an expensive restaurant.

The first thing that caught my eye when we entered the room was the discrepancy between the room and the photos provided on the site. It looked different from the bedroom to the bathroom. Overall, the room was dated; there were stains on the walls, traces of wine or champagne. The bathroom has a very old shower, cracked tiles, there is a shower tray instead of a shower and a rag curtain. In addition, the bathroom had traces of mold, mildew and a lot of wood lice.
3) Breakfast. One of the main reasons why we booked this hotel was the rave reviews from other guests about the delicious breakfast. The very first morning we were disappointed. The breakfast buffet was very poor with very little choice of food. However, this is not the worst. The quality of the food itself was terrible, the food was not very fresh and the food was not of high quality. We often stay in budget hotels or even hostels in Europe but this was the worst breakfast ever. In addition, this was repeated for 3 days. How anyone can write in a review that the breakfast at this hotel is amazing, I can't imagine. I had to buy food in a supermarket or have breakfast in restaurants (in the city center) because it was impossible to eat there.
