Obviously, at 15.00 we were not able to settle in, because for this we would have to cancel all our plans and bookings. About the lack of free rooms, it is also unclear to me, when we arrived at the hotel, we saw a whole passenger bus (about 30 people) who had already left the hotel.
The staff offered no alternative solutions to this problem: no upgrade to a higher category for a fee, nor the ability to at least change into dry clothes while cleaning the room. We realized that they just didn't want to see us and asked to just leave our suitcases in the luggage room, the staff gave us the key to a small and rather dirty room where we left our luggage.
Naturally, the festive mood was spoiled, because we could not even get warm, change clothes after the rain and the road, and we had to walk all day like this, including celebrating in an expensive restaurant.

The first thing that caught my eye when we entered the room was the discrepancy between the room and the photos provided on the site. It looked different from the bedroom to the bathroom. Overall, the room was dated; there were stains on the walls, traces of wine or champagne. The bathroom has a very old shower, cracked tiles, there is a shower tray instead of a shower and a rag curtain. In addition, the bathroom had traces of mold, mildew and a lot of wood lice.
3) Breakfast. One of the main reasons why we booked this hotel was the rave reviews from other guests about the delicious breakfast. The very first morning we were disappointed. The breakfast buffet was very poor with very little choice of food. However, this is not the worst. The quality of the food itself was terrible, the food was not very fresh and the food was not of high quality. We often stay in budget hotels or even hostels in Europe but this was the worst breakfast ever. In addition, this was repeated for 3 days. How anyone can write in a review that the breakfast at this hotel is amazing, I can't imagine. I had to buy food in a supermarket or have breakfast in restaurants (in the city center) because it was impossible to eat there.

They settled in the farthest extreme room on the 3rd floor, apparently everyone with small children is settled in that wing, according to their interests, so to speak. Standard room is small, but cozy, warm enough. Everything in the room is according to the description, even a balcony, which is rare for city hotels. Breakfast is just like in the photo at the hotel and with us, delicious, everything is always there, at least half an hour before the end, coffee from a coffee machine, hot chocolate, just milk, to each his own. One of the pleasant bonuses in the hotel is the fact that the hotel is adjacent to the business center under one roof and during the day in the hotel restaurant there is a business lunch, it is also a lunch at a symbolic cost (only on weekdays! ). You can have dinner, but somehow it didn’t work out. There are enough pleasant establishments nearby, especially Fortas (look at the reviews on the Google map - really tasty and comfortable in an acceptable budget). Further along Grata. Everything in the hotel is in flowers, live, blooming orchids, zameoculcas, ficuses, a very pleasant atmosphere. And throughout the city, on every window sill, huge beautiful orchids - an urban trend? . There is a children's room, a sauna with a small pool, but we never got there to even look. Every day at the reception, pleasant staff, always welcome. Prior to arrival, he asked in advance to order a bouquet of certain flowers for his wife's arrival in the DR, they did it, everything is ok, but the variety is at its discretion. In a foreign city, of course, they were happy to help and a pleasant bouquet, although not what they asked for, but by the evening of the first day the bouquet began to fade and for 5 nights of our stay only one type of yellow flowers was enough. This in no way affects the overall assessment of the hotel, who will have a similar festive or just like a situation, I strongly advise you to walk one block past the Embassy of Belarus and in front of you there will be a huge flower market with flowers of all kinds and for any budget, even around the clock. In short, if you want everything to be right, either control it to the end, or do it yourself. In general, the location of the hotel is completely satisfied, because the uber around the city to anywhere in the city is 2-4 euros (to the airport 4.5 euros). And if you lived in the center, you probably would never have ended up in the central city park, where there are a lot of children's attractions, rental of all kinds of bicycle carriages, etc. right from the sandbox because it’s already hard to get out of the park on foot. Returning to the hotel itself, I can also add that the room has a tea and coffee set, daily superficial cleaning and change of towels, who cares - a luggage storage according to the standard, a mini-bar, like everywhere else, is paid - it doesn’t matter, I repeat until Maxima five minutes take a walk or near the restaurant bar, open until late in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised by the bonus from the hotel - in the evening you could visit the sauna with a mini-pool for free. The morning starts with breakfast. Here he is excellent! Any dish for every taste. Even red fish is present. The hotel left a pleasant impression, there is a minus-far from the center. But who cares.
