We returned from Morocco on July 11.2010. I'll try to present my travel impressions… We lived in the hotel "Caribbean village Agador", 3+. I liked the hotel, a large beautiful area, five (it seems) pools, animation, although not in Russian, but good. There is a children's club - from the outside it's good, inside - I don't know, there were no children. It seemed to me that you can go there with children of any age. There is animation for them, the food is not exotic, there is sand on the beach, the ocean is clean.
Our room is successful, however, without a refrigerator, but we did not suffer, but with air conditioning, which we did not use, because in the evenings a wonderful breeze blows from the ocean. The receptionist was given 10 euros upon check-in... ) (Offered a choice - air conditioning or a refrigerator, they chose air conditioning)) It was a little frightening that a whole bus of Russian tourists was settled in this hotel at the same time as we were, but then everyone dispersed, and our dominance was not noticeable. ) Many more English, French, Belgians, Germans and Poles.
True, they personally cleaned our room so-so - and no tips worked on our maid)) But, after talking with other tourists, I came to the conclusion that this was her personal feature: what you don’t ask, she’s for everything: “Two minutes ". Maybe that's her entire vocabulary. . . )

There was always a guide Mohammed (Coral Travel) in the hotel from morning to evening. He is very pleasant and responsive, friendly and honest: any requests - from “my TV does not work” to “pluck an oleander branch for me” fulfills with joy. In general, I was very pleased with Coral Travel, nice people, no overlaps, they even escort them to the airport to the aircraft counter, translate from English into French “near the window, please”... )
I really liked the climate: there is no scorching sun, it is almost always cloudy in the morning, but this does not mean that you will not tan, on the contrary, be careful - you can get burned very easily! The ocean temperature is ideal for me - I think it's 24-25 degrees - whenever I swim: early in the morning, in the afternoon or late in the evening, it was always good - the water is neither cold nor warm, just what you need!
We didn’t swim in the pool, the ocean really fascinated us! But they say they have to take their places early. We came to the beach around 9, there were always free sunbeds, but by 12, yes, it was already more difficult...
Walk to the ocean for 7 minutes, slowly. Past the construction site, yes, but not stressful at all - Moroccan builders are working quietly... )
They fed well. This, of course, is not a “five”, without frills, but tasty and enough. Breakfast: 3-4 types of sausage (of which one is edible; )), buns, cereal, scrambled eggs, jams-butter-cheese-eggs-milk-juice. For dinner-lunch - fish, chicken, meat - a must, various vegetables, potatoes - and mashed potatoes, and fries, spaghetti. Not a lot, but not a little either. Everyone noted that with the Turkish three stars (and sometimes four) can not be compared - much better.
Beer is decent, wine is delicious - white, red and rose, dry. Other drinks in bars. I liked the rum, whiskey, no, I didn’t try the rest).

Before going for any souvenirs, I recommend visiting the Marzhan supermarket, a three-seat taxi costs 12 dirhams, a five-seat one - as you bargain). There is almost everything there: spices, and grandmothers (such national shoes), and teapots, and cups, and tea, and what else does a tourist need? Ah, the gray wine – at a price of 3.40 euros a bottle – is very decent! In Marrakesh, by the way, they sell it for 14 euros. And the moonshine-engineered drink, mahia, seems to be similar to rakia. And argan oil (culinary). Even if you don't buy anything, at least get an idea of the prices.
Looking back, I would say that outside of Agadir, only cosmetic argan oil is worth buying. The rest can be bought on the spot, and even not far from the hotel, in souvenir shops, or, to complete the experience, in the Agadir market. Bargain. What is strength. I can't. Although she tried. But no matter how hard I tried, the feeling that I was cheated always remained. When bargaining, I used the scheme: the trader sets a price, I divide it by 7, and then raise it a little bit to the same price, divided by three.
I highly recommend to go on a two-day tour of Marrakesh-Essaouira. It is very difficult to travel for two days, for one day, and it is very hot in Marrakesh. If you don't go, I'm afraid you'll never get an idea of this country. The spectacle is impressive, although touristic, of course).
Ithaca, summary: the hotel is good, exactly for its price. All the people I met there loved it. Morocco is worth a trip, at least once... ; )
