We thank everyone who wrote reviews about Agadir, it helped a lot in choosing a hotel and planning a vacation. The Hotel Riad Mogador al Madina is indeed, as it was written earlier, very cozy, friendly, with attentive service, with rather spacious rooms in oriental style, which have many wardrobes and shelves. If you ask for a room with a balcony, then it will probably have a sunbed plus a table with an armchair. Rooms are cleaned in places not very carefully, but after a personal cultural attack on the cleaning lady for unsweeping sand for three days, the service has clearly improved. Otherwise, everything is OK, towels and linen are changed regularly. The hotel itself is generally nice, but rather shabby, for lovers of luxury, 4 stars are not very attractive. But, in our opinion, it is conveniently located - through the second (back) passage past the pool - 5 minutes in a straight line to the ocean.

The food is quite good.

On the first day, dinner was a little surprised by the lack of hot spices and various spices, but then you get used to it, realizing that the food is very healthy and you can choose everything for every taste: fish, meat, pasta, rice, potatoes, vegetables - everything is there, you will not starve. I would especially like to note delicious sweets.

Some write that it is better not to take dinner, as restaurants in the city have a sea and other variety, but we did not regret the dinners, as we dined and got acquainted with the local cuisine in the city, or on excursions, and we were happy to have dinner at the hotel. Those who recommended trying food in tagines are absolutely right - it is really very tasty.

There is no alcohol in the hotel, but it and other goods (cheap souvenirs and argan oil) can be bought at the Uniprix supermarket next to the fruit market.
For example, you can go there like this: go out through the "back" entrance towards the ocean to the boulevard, turn right, walk to the free zoo and through it, admiring the animals, go up to the market and the store in a straight line.

Some recommend dining in the port with freshly caught seafood at "cheap" street eateries - be careful! The food is really very tasty, but it is cheap, apparently, only for locals. Recently, the owners of some canteens (they go under the numbers there) got into the habit of kicking relaxed tourists. Find out in advance the price of what you are going to eat, otherwise the bill will surprise you unpleasantly. We got our sad experience in canteen number 20, and our Russian friends were also deceived in canteen number 19. We hope that after two scandals (although not very successful), the cunning owners changed their minds and corrected themselves, so be bolder, the seafood is divine and, bon appetit to everyone.

All excursions were booked through local guides. You can even find it in Russian, but mostly in English. Transport is decent - they went to the cities by minibuses, and to the villages and to the landscapes - by jeeps. The drivers are qualified, everyone has licenses, no matter what the Russian guides say or scare. Excursions from locals are really cheaper and the quality is not worse. It is worth seeing the cities of Marrakesh and Essaouira (we liked the latter even more), we also liked Tiut / Taroudant and enjoyed donkey riding.

A little about the weather: in March, gorgeous weather for swimming and sunbathing should not be expected. In Agadir, the weather is changeable, it rains and it is cloudy for 2-3 days, the ocean temperature is about +17, on hot days, daredevils still swim. The month is comfortable for excursions and acquaintance with the country.

Everyone - have a nice holiday!
