The hotel is simply chic, new, well maintained, excellent staff and food, there are some drawbacks, but more on that later. Agadir is almost the most European city with an Islamic religion. The women here do not wear hijabs, and many of the locals are dressed in European style. The city is quite new, because the old one was destroyed by an earthquake in the 60s. Very clean, with beautiful white houses and well-groomed streets. There are practically no sights, only beautiful ocean views and gorgeous white beaches with huge but soft waves. The city is simply strewn with various restaurants, cafes and shops. During the day, there are practically no locals, only vacationers and possibly workers walk around, but in the evening the city simply flourishes. It shimmers with lights, music plays in evening establishments, nightclubs open - just beautiful! I didn't expect Morocco to look like this at all. Now, as promised, I will return to the positive and not so good sides of the Tikida Agadir hotel. The disadvantages are not many and not big, but still they are. The rooms are huge. Shine and cleanliness in everything, a lot of sofas, comfortable chairs and sunbeds. Towels without deposits and not issued, you ask, if necessary, from any staff you come across, in the room they are also changed every day. The floors are washed, the dust is wiped off, there is a kettle, coffee, tea, cream, sugar, but the elementary absence of shampoo, hair conditioner and slippers certainly surprised. Although I use my own, time-tested and hair, remedy, well, after all)... I took a room on the first floor (I don’t like stairs and elevators). Own lawn, deck chairs and direct access to the pools and the ocean. The beaches in Morocco are municipal, at the hotel it is simply fenced off with ropes on both sides. The sand is clean, not a speck of dust, not a mote, no stones, algae and jellyfish, I have never seen. The ocean is just a delight! You enter it and get lost in time… The water temperature in the Atlantic Ocean is about 20 °C, a stunning pleasant contrast. But here I ran into a bit of trouble. Very uncomfortable sunbeds that do not fold out and the lack of mattresses on them did not fit into the overall service of the hotel. The way out was pretty easy. . When sunbathing in front, I lay on a sunbed, and in order to have a tan on my back, I lay down on a towel, for this I just took a spare with me to the beach))). The food and drinks exceeded all expectations! Buffet, but the variety of dishes amaze with their abundance. I won’t spread much, all the food in all restaurants, including A la carte restaurants, and the waiters with bartenders were at the highest level. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, freshly squeezed juices for every taste, various types of meat and fish, but especially a wonderful table with national Moroccan cuisine! And the most amazing thing is just a feast of many fruits and unique Moroccan tangerines and pomegranates!! ! I think that Morocco is a country that everyone should definitely visit. This is an extraordinary country and I already miss it (.
