Traveled in the period 28/08/12-18/09/12: me, husband, daughter 10 months old, my mother. I must say right away that we had a good rest, and I cite the pluses and minuses described below for the information of those departing, so that the picture is objective, and there are no false expectations.
Pros:
1) the location of the hotel / beach - "on 4" - the bay is quite nice, the hotel is at the very end of the bay on the right, near the mountain, which is good, because away from the city beach (approximately in the middle of the bay), calmer in terms of strangers ( left beach accessories and went for lunch) and closer to the pedestrian tunnel through the mountain - the exit to Budva, where you can take a walk in the Old Town for a change. Sand on the beach with fine gravel - good for foot massage and sand castles  . Entry into the water is normal. Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid (2 euros per day per piece), beach towels can be rented for a deposit of 10 euros;

2) climate / nature - on "4+" very gentle sun, soft, slightly cool sea (a bit unclear, dirty after a storm), in the first two weeks it rained 1 day, in the last - 3 days with a thunderstorm (such a season); but the air is great. Compared to other hotels, our territory is green. I don’t recommend comparing with Splendid (where there is less greenery, more glamor, style, more expensive and obliging), because these are fundamentally different hotels;
3) food - at "5" - despite the fact that the child has atopic dermatitis (we do not eat cow protein in any form in any product), there was enough variety of sweets + all day long you can indulge in very tasty coffee (mochachino, cappuccino, etc. . ) and there is ice cream (alas, not for me), regularly national evenings - in addition to ordinary wines, they were treated to special ones - champagne, amaretto (yum-yum), brandy, moonshine - for lovers))) good pastries, mousses, jelly; lots of fresh vegetables and fruits (sorry the watermelon disappeared a week after our arrival, but every day there were melons, apples, peaches, nectarines, pears, plums, grapes,... );
4) animation - with "5" - the guys tried very hard, especially on rainy days - they involved people in board games (poker, loto), arranged prize draws for playing darts, table tennis, organized karaoke (alas, it was only 3 pm with karaoke for 3 weeks, but fun  ), various show programs (I liked the comedy sketches), invited a folk dance ensemble (albeit mediocre), a musician with a live sound with a guitar and a synthesizer (sooo good! ); Need to know: entertainment programs every day until 11 pm (except Sunday), respectively, until this time we could not fall asleep (and in the early days we really wanted to, because in our time it is 1 am). You have to be prepared for this (! )
5) attitude towards children - "5+" - super everywhere! A family-type hotel (! ) the staff is very respectful of the children - they walk past, say a kind word, play "goat", in the restaurant the waiters clean the plates and have time to giggle with the kids. It seems to be a corporate approach. There is a mini-club, there are children from 4 years old, and they are engaged (! ), come up with games, pirate day)) etc. ;
No special impressions:
- room cleaning daily, but a little late (for example, we had it at 3 days);

- there is a "spa" center, but the services that we took were not impressed (massage of the body, face, legs) - it seemed that they cheated, for a change it is possible;
- local promenade - it’s good to take a stroll along the embankment to the church, climb the mountain with a child, see the views, but local cafes are something (the eateries on our Black Sea look more appetizing),
- local "shopping" - as the spouse said - Chinese goods at European prices; I really didn't want to spend money, for the first time))).
Now the cons:
1) the work of the reception and accommodation - on the "2+".
Our travel agency agreed with the commercial department of the hotel 2 months before the trip 2 adjacent rooms (double and single) (in this hotel, alas, there are no adjacent rooms, there are no 2-room rooms), I asked back in Moscow for a printout of correspondence confirming the agreed resettlement, because the information was not entered in the voucher. When checking in at the hotel, they offered 2 different buildings - Grand and Terrassa (Park) and referred to their lack of information about the need to check in nearby. I had to get a message. They ran to the manager to confer, returned and offered to agree for 1 night, and then the mother will be moved to our building Terrassa (in my opinion, it is more comfortable, given that the restaurant on the 3rd floor overlooks the park / sea, and not 1st with a view of the parking lot, and the fact that the music is heard, but does not yell under the very windows). Agreed.
In principle, 1 night is not critical, but this is either a bad organization or craftiness (if there were no correspondence printouts, I don’t know if we could have settled the issue so easily).
It's also funny that we carried / carried things to the building / number ourselves. The staff waved their hand pointing us in the direction and setting the desired movement vector))). A trifle, but remembered)));

2) buildings and communications, the equipment of the hotel as a whole are old (BUT, it seems that this is very typical in principle for Montenegro, most hotels look "tired") - on "3-" - as a result, we settled in rooms No. 1111 (single) and No. 1114 (double) Terraces (note - in Grande, the single room, where my mother spent the night for 1 night, was much smaller in area).
In the mother’s single, ants trodden a path in the corridor, although we didn’t scatter food, but kept it in the refrigerator)), water flowed from under the washstand when using it - our feet were already wet by the end of the washing procedure))).
In the double - it smelled sooo much of sewerage (later it was found out that this is such a disaster in almost all rooms), it is especially felt after a storm, apparently, the sewage level is rising. How we escaped: 3 glasses of water into the drain + close with a wet foot towel + close the door to the bathroom and air it more often.
Both rooms have shower cabins, in which the glass doors do not reach the floor (12 cm "gap"), the threshold is low, respectively, when you take a shower, all the water is on the floor of the bathroom itself.
And now the continuation))) - on the second day we asked to change our room so that the music was quieter and there was no sewer smell. They offered a view of the hotel wall - we refused))) sea view for an additional fee - they were ready, but the rooms were occupied. They offered us to come every day to the reception at about 12-00, to ask if there are places))) We went like this for 3 or 4 days in a row - according to their information there were no places, although it was clear from the street that some of the rooms (about 8-10) were not in use, the sun blinds are down. But maybe they were reserved and waiting for their guests, who knows. In general, there were no places, well, we scored on this matter))). Fortunately, the smell almost completely disappeared by the 3rd day, because the weather was good, we also got used to the new sleep mode and, accordingly, to loud music (although the balcony could only be opened after 11 pm to ventilate the room; and with air conditioning to sleep with a child not resolved).

The development of history - on the 3rd week of our vacation, bad weather came - for several days it was raining, thunderstorms, storms. Accordingly, the smell of sewage in the room returned with renewed vigor. Courageously held out for days. Then the husband went to download the rights to the reception, to no avail: the "priests" say that they will ask the manager, they call him - he refuses, says that this is the design of the hotel, referring to the lack of places. We did not manage to see this manager. They didn’t want to swear, they scored, they rested outside the room, they ventilated more often. When there were about 5 days left before departure, in the evening they saw a man in the restaurant - a hotel employee in a red jacket (the husband said that he had seen him even earlier - 2 weeks ago in the same restaurant, also at dinner). The man handed out questionnaires to those who wished to evaluate the work of the hotel. Well, we wrote in a good "angelic"))) language about the pros and cons, about the fact that even for an additional fee they did not want to change the room with "aromas".
The next day at 10-30 in the morning they called from the reception (! ) themselves))) and offered to see a new room))) The room turned out to be on the 2nd floor of our own building - No. 1224 - and after our standard one it seemed just a luxury - 2 times larger in area, with a soft guest sofa, a small corner bath instead of a shower and access to a wide terrace with sun loungers - shared with 4 other rooms.
There was no smell)) Of course, we agreed - at least 4 days to live like white people)))
A little later,  all the blunders and blunders of the new issue came to light:
- the smell was still present, but much less;
- the air conditioner did not work - the benefit of the heat was gone, but if it was, then oh-her;
- water flowed from under the bathtub, and from the hose of the shower head at the point of attachment to the mixer - it splashed in different directions; At the same time, I note that there are no curtains in the bath at all, as a class - which, in general, is not important, because everywhere is already warm and wet - they are used to it, but they came to the sea after all, but it's funny,
- one lamp did not burn - also nonsense, but it is strange that they do not check the room when new guests check in;
- when the TV was turned on, there was only “snow” - the husband looked, said that the antenna cord was “g... o”, then he twisted / twisted something there, and, lo and behold, it worked - though the baby and I didn’t really have much to the TV, only 2 times the music channel was watched during the entire trip,
- the refrigerator buzzed / creaked - a trifle, but not pleasant;
- in the end - our double bed creaked (hee hee)))))))
From the point of view of the quality of services in the room - well, this is by no means a 4 * star hotel.

Conclusion: we liked everything, but in our mutual opinion - the price and quality, taking into account the depreciation of the number of rooms, are not friendly. At the same time, I think that the administration will not invest in capital investments for a long time, because there are sooo many people who want to relax in this hotel, and demand is constant due to its undeniable advantages (described above) compared to other hotels in this resort. Have a good holiday everyone!
