This is the worst, filthiest hotel ever. I understand that this is a three-star hotel, but there is a limit to everything. To begin with, I bought a tour to Montenegro with my teenage son and my girlfriend and daughter, we paid the same! My son and I were settled in a very tiny room of 10-12 square meters, the lack of sanitation is terrible, black long hair is everywhere, mold in the shower room, the shower cabin leaks so that it floods the entire bathroom, there is nowhere to hang things, there is no normal closet, there is some kind of stupid hinged a closet, which is usually hung in the kitchen and you have to hang things there, dresses, trousers that do not fit there - it's just awful. … More ▾ This is the worst, filthiest hotel ever. There are no wall hooks either. The dryer on the balcony is all rusted and broken on one side, a towel with a swimsuit needs to be contrived to dry it, there are no other drying places, such as a rope either. We have block A, number 204.
But my friend got a beautiful spacious room, with a normal closet on the third floor, room 305. This is block B. We paid the same!! ! My attempts to agree on relocation to the best room were unsuccessful, although my friend’s voucher also spelled block A like ours, but for some reason they were settled in block B, better in terms of conditions, and we were in a shed, but they paid the same, At the same time! At the reception, the girl’s name is Angela, I tell her why, give me a different number, a friend in the voucher ticket also has block A, like ours. She - there are no places, although tourists regularly leave. The guide who was supposed to help with my question did not help at all.
I do not recommend, definitely! And the restaurant is nearby, also from this Aquariusua, the food is so-so. The impudent bald waiter does not give all the change. Food and service leave a lot to be desired.

We rested from 29.09. 2018 to 07.10. 2018 in this "hotel". We were seated almost immediately, at 9:00. The administrator - an elderly woman who speaks very bad Russian, was almost always absent. We saw her only 3 times during the week of our stay at the hotel. Our room 208 was on the second floor, overlooking the courtyard, so it was relatively quiet at night. Furniture and renovations are old, they are 20 years old for sure. The barrel in the toilet was constantly leaking, and the drain was terribly noisy. We took a shower very carefully and quickly, because the drain did not work well and some of the water was on the floor in the bathroom. Audibility in the rooms is 100%. I could hear my neighbor coughing through the wall. Pillow - one name. The blanket was a blanket cut in half, i. e. 1.5 m by 1 m. (For a child or what? ) Then they changed the blanket repeatedly, trying to find something on their own in the closet in the corridor. There was cobwebs on the ceiling in the room, the bathroom door was in some kind of white stains. At our request to eliminate these shortcomings, the receptionist nodded her head, but nothing was done. The room had an electric kettle (with a terrible limescale, which we tried to wash with citric acid) and 2 glass glasses. Cleaning in the room - if you leave the key at the reception. Therefore, we washed the poly, added toilet paper and took out the trash daily. Bed linen was changed once. Never wiped the nightstands near the bed. Not a single plate, fork or spoon, etc. etc. - all this must be taken in a restaurant, a cat. located on the 1st floor, the entrance to it across the street. Outside, under a roof, but not indoors, so we had breakfast and dinner in jackets, because it was pretty cool. And a lot of cats! They sat on chairs, ran around and looked plaintively in anticipation of a piece from the table. There was a lot of dust everywhere. Here is such, unfortunately, intisanitation in the dining room! Now about nutrition. I have never seen such horror! All 7 days breakfast was the same - fried and boiled eggs, fried and boiled sausages, sausage and cheese cuts, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage (! , which disappeared from 04.10), pate (from chicken liver), cheese melted, or jam and butter. From drinks - tea bags (green, mint and something else, black - there was a big shortage), coffee, milk, juice (apple), water. This is all! For a week, no porridge, no cottage cheese, no yogurt - nothing. Oh yes, there were fruits - apples and 1 time they gave me a watermelon. Everything! This is in a country/city where tangerines, grapes, figs grow like weeds in every yard of every house. . . This is breakfast. Now dinner. The menu is: soup (broth from a cube, vegetables - carrots. cabbage, vermicelli and something else floated), salad cucumbers + cabbage (from 04.10 cabbage was removed), hake / tefli / schnitzel from pork, 1 time there were stuffed peppers and 1 time pork skewers, garnished with potatoes and pasta. From fish only hake! They don't have any other fish! And dessert - something like a roll with nutella. And no tea. You have to pay for it separately! That is, there were no drinks at dinner at all! And so the whole week! In general, room + food = unsatisfactory!

We booked an apartment in advance so that there were two rooms with a kitchen. As a result, we got number 311 - in fact, an apartment, with a large entrance hall, two bathrooms, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and a fully equipped large kitchen. Each room has air conditioning. True, the balcony is small, resting against the wall of the neighboring house. There, just hang the clothes to dry. In general, the interior is not "hotel", rather, very "home".
The service is quite consistent with the category of the hotel - towels were changed every day, bed linen every three days. But we must be prepared for the fact that they may forget to throw out the trash from all the baskets. Soaps, shampoos/gels were not provided. Although washing powder and dishwashing detergent were available.
The location of the hotel is very good. Not the first line, of course (do not believe the ads), but everything is very close. To supermarkets and the market - 2 minutes walk, to the edge of the surf - 5 minutes. You will go to the left - Slovenska Plazha, to the right - the Old Town and Mogren Beach. The bus station is also 5-7 minutes.
Keep in mind that tourist buses do not drive up to the hotel (there are very few such opportunities in Budva at all - the streets are very narrow). So from the "New Boulevard" to the hotel go 150 meters, a little uphill.
The hotel restaurant deserves special mention. We only took breakfast. Breakfasts (buffet) did not shine with variety, but they coped with their task - to feed the half-asleep inhabitants - perfectly. If you leave early for an excursion, they give you a “dry ration”. Before the trip, we planned to have dinner at various places in Budva. But almost every evening they returned to Aquarius. Tasty, high quality, relatively inexpensive... Attentive and friendly attitude to the client, fast service. Do not be stingy with a small “tip” and you will be rewarded a hundredfold ; -). For example, in a restaurant on the waterfront for the same order, you will pay 20% more interest and you will have to wait longer. And they will bring you tap water for 1.5 EUR.
Probably the only “minus” of the restaurant is the cats, which are almost rummaging around on the plates. But the visitors themselves are to blame - they feed them constantly, and that's the result.
The hotel and restaurant staff are mostly fluent in Russian, there will be no problems. Wi-Fi is available on the floors of the hotel and in the restaurant.
In short, on our next trip to Montenegro, the Aquarius hotel is definitely on the list of options.

The hotel has a restaurant where residents of the surrounding villas come for breakfast. We also came here to eat from the villa on the next street. Breakfasts are not distinguished by sophistication and variety, however, no one left hungry. Especially local chefs succeeded in puff pastry with cheese. I don’t know what it is called in Montenegrin, but in Bulgaria this type of pastry is called “banichka”. The Aquarius restaurant is decorated like a fisherman's hut. Nets, oars, stuffed turtles and other "fishing" surroundings hang around. And there are also a lot of arrogant cats that act like terrorists, throwing themselves at your feet when you defile between restaurant tables with a full plate.
Apart from the restaurant, the hotel has no "entertainment". The hotel rooms differ from each other in design and area. Some rooms are equipped with a kitchenette. All rooms without exception have a safe, TV, refrigerator - minibar, hair dryer, air conditioning; Wi-Fi is also said to be available. The spacious balconies have tables and chairs. Friendly staff, good location - in general, a normal "tourist class" hotel.
Separately, I want to note that the transfer bus does not drive up to the door of the hotel. Guests will have to stomp about a hundred meters from the stop to the door, and then still lift the luggage up the stairs leading to the reception.
I wish you all a pleasant holiday!
*****
Photos and impressions about the hotel were brought from the promotional info-tour around Montenegro in October 2013.

I flew to Aquarius alone in May of this year, I chose a hotel in the center of Budva, on a budget, and so that the best beach of the resort was nearby - the Slavic beach. Unitours offered Aquarius and Slavenska Plaza to choose from. The pros and cons of both hotels were discussed for a long time with the manager, and in the end I decided that I liked the cozy little territory of Aquarius more and made the right choice. … More ▾ I flew to Aquarius alone in May of this year, I chose a hotel in the center of Budva, on a budget, and so that the best beach of the resort was nearby - the Slavic beach. I booked a standard hotel room, small in size, but I almost didn’t sit in the room, so I didn’t care. The food is decent for a 3* hotel. There are a lot of people on the beach, I can imagine what is there now, if in May there was already nowhere to step. In general, I was satisfied with the rest, I would recommend the hotel for an economical trip and for a relaxing holiday.

The hotel is simple, clean, well (in our opinion) located, everything is nearby. In room 304, where we lived, there is a wardrobe, double bed, sofa, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, balcony. Bed linen and towels (changed every day). Rarely left 1 euro for cleaning. The hotel is quiet. The air conditioner worked properly, the room on the second floor with a view I don’t even know how to describe, on some street in general. … More ▾ The hotel is simple, clean, well (in our opinion) located, everything is nearby. The hotel is quiet. The air conditioner worked properly, the room on the second floor with a view I don’t even know how to describe, on some street in general. Breakfast is standard for Europe. Very tasty bread, all meat dishes and fish especially. Huge portions, and if in one cafe a portion of the second, including a side dish, costs 8-9 euros, then in another it will cost 10-12 more, but it will be even more. Pancakes are huge and if the filling is jam, then a whole jar. Beer in cafes and restaurants cost from 0.5 to 2.5 euros on tap, it seems to be the same everywhere, but tasty, I liked Vranac wine, super. The Slavic beach next to the hotel completely suited us (umbrella and 2 sun loungers - 8 euros), you don’t have to take it, it’s cheaper to buy an umbrella (sold at every turn) and sunbathe on towels or buy mats if you decide only to sunbathe and swim. But still, my wife and I preferred to go to Yaz beach, 5 kilometers from Budva, where there is very clear water and a beautiful view of the rocks, part of the beach is reserved for nudists, by the way, I advise everyone to visit it. Montenegro is a very beautiful country, the sea is clean. In Budva itself, there is also something to see. The private transfer got us to the airport quickly and without any problems. The rest was a success, we are already dreaming of going there again, because not everyone had time to see

Bed linen was changed three times in a week. A little monotonous breakfast, but in principle tolerable. Inconvenience - wi-fi catches only at the reception and in the restaurant, it does not take in the rooms. You also need to be prepared that on the day of departure they will be asked to leave the room at 11-00. Our plane was from Podgorica at 20-20, we left Budva at 17-00, so it's not very convenient. Well, in general, the rest was not bad. The sea is clean, warm, people are friendly, Mediterranean cuisine, Vranac wine is pleasant. Everything was good. I think to visit Montenegro again.

The hotel lived in the old part on the second floor, the view was on a courtyard with trees and neighboring villas, the smell from the restaurant came, but without the fumes and stench. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed. The bed was changed after 3-4 days. Air conditioning, TV, refrigerator worked properly. The toilet had only soap and a hair dryer, the window did not close. the pipes did not flow, only the water splashed onto the floor, the curtain did not save. In general, we are satisfied with the room - the main thing is to sleep, change clothes and wash. Meals: we only took breakfast, something delicious, something not. Cold pasta with sauce (a local dish apparently), cereal with milk, scrambled eggs, sausages, sausage, cheese, pate, khachapuri, muffins, coleslaw, cucumbers and tomatoes. From drinks - coffee, tea, milk, diluted juice (yuppies). Breakfast was from 7 am - very convenient. With the hotel staff practically did not communicate - only hello and goodbye.
The first (and last) time we went to the Slavic beach - there are a lot of people, we basically don’t need sunbeds, and there’s nowhere to lay a towel, everything is busy. The next day we went to Mogren 1, it's great there, most people come at 11 o'clock, and in the morning it's free, there is no loud music. in the evening there are a lot of people and the sea is dirty. The advantage of Montenegro is that in a small area there are a huge number of interesting and beautiful places, beaches. We traveled by bus to St. Stefan, to Milocer, to Bar (the old town in Bar is the most striking impression), by river taxi on about. St. Nikola. We sailed on the boat along the Bay of Kotor.
In general, I am very satisfied, I especially liked the local cuisine and the portion size cheered me up. As for the language - if you know how to behave culturally, don't be rude, smile at people, try to explain as best you can (especially if you don't know English)) then everyone understands everything in shops and cafes.
In order to avoid surprises and negativity, it is better to study the information about the country and the features of the holiday in advance, and most importantly, enjoy your vacation and get new impressions!

They refused to provide us with a new room, and they tried not to communicate with us at all during the entire subsequent stay in the "hotel".
The last 4 days we still managed to live in a more or less tolerable room on the second floor.
On the day of departure, we were asked to vacate the room by 12.00. I note that the bus came for us at 17.00. We were offered to change clothes after the beach before leaving in the utility room, where those. staff kept buckets, mops, etc. How do you like it? Here is the service!
I will also say that this "hotel" has good rooms, which are located in the new building. In the old one, coziness and comfort are out of the question.
If you are lucky enough to get into the new building, then you are lucky. But to be honest, I really do not recommend this "hotel".
