It was in this villa that our entire group lived, and, of course, me. It is located in a very advantageous place in Budva - near a supermarket, a market and all the benefits of civilization, close to the beach and the Old Town. The first floor is occupied by the PILON agency, the host of the tour operator Siesta. There is only one drawback in the location - it is located on a noisy street that does not stop day or night. My room did not overlook the front, that is, the street itself, but, nevertheless, only tightly closed windows saved me from the noise. It didn’t spoil my vacation in any way, especially since in Budva not only the street can disturb with noise, but also cheerful neighbors, for whom there is only their rest and nothing else. Fortunately, there are companies that have temporary brakes in this regard, but there are also without them, so be prepared for this, moreover, in many places in the city.

As I said, the first floor of the villa is occupied by a travel agency, and the second floor is occupied by the host family.

So do not be surprised if you come across the first room, which is located on the third floor (there is no elevator). The presence of the owner is constant and sometimes useful. I had to wait about an hour to check into my room. At first I decided to do it in the yard, contemplating the immediate surroundings, somehow a family of Albanian gypsies immediately came up to me to beg, but the owner of the villa quickly stopped this action. It was one of the first impressions of the country I came to for the first time, it plunged me into a small stupor: “Is it really like this all the time and everywhere (I don’t like it eerily)? ". Thank God it was the only case in a week. I consider the presence of a travel agency on the ground floor to be a plus for those who plan excursions, and I consider it simply impossible not to go on excursions in Montenegro. And Pilon, without exaggeration, is one of the best organizers of these, and their guide Elena is a true professional and a person sincerely in love with the country.
Free access to the Internet is provided (a password is issued), the speed is decent, but, to be honest, there were interruptions with his presence.

I, the only one from the group, got the number single, or rather, twin, in which I lived alone. This is one of the simplest rooms in the villa and, perhaps, with an unfortunate view from the window, but independent living in it blocked all the "inconveniences" with a vengeance! Even this simple room has everything for a comfortable stay - air conditioning, TV panel (there are Russian-language channels), refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer, iron, ironing board. Be careful with the iron, one girl from our group severely burned her skirt on the minimum setting. There are also more luxurious rooms in the villa - take my word for it, because during the week there was no time to go to the companions for a photo session. A mini-kitchenette to chew on the freshest seafood, there would be no price!
There is all the necessary furniture, although unpretentious, but most importantly - the bed is comfortable. What I really didn't like was the lack of blankets, instead of them there was a terry sheet. It’s good that I lived in a room alone - I could cover myself with two at the same time, and I also had a homemade beach towel on top (a couple of nights were frankly cool).

The bathroom has a shower, hot water without problems, only soap from soap accessories. Of course, there is quite something to complain about, for example, in my room the drain button in the toilet bowl was sunk and water was constantly flowing, but I managed to cope with this on my own and after, with the right press, there were no more problems. I admit that for some this could be a great tragedy and ruined vacation, because people are arranged differently.

Cleaning, how to put it mildly, is so-so, despite the tip.

Actually, in a week she was once, and I didn’t even bother to put the toilet paper over, I had to go to the store and buy it - a trifle, but unpleasant. Then they told me that it was necessary to ask the maid for paper - this is not clear and strange to me. Catch the cleaning lady on the stairs and beg for paper - some kind of nonsense! It's easier for me to buy then. By and large, this moment of mood did not spoil me, I wrote about it to warn the faint of heart.

There is only one food here - the "restaurant" L&M, located within walking distance. Of course, in my concept, the restaurant looks “slightly” different. Breakfast - 5.5 Euro, lunch / dinner - 6 Euro. To be honest - look for other options for food. Everything is edible, but for this money I would have bought some yogurt with a snack in a supermarket or in the market for breakfast, and I would have looked like the rest in different parts of the city.

A little about the beaches of Budva.
I'll start with the distant Yaz, it is so called because it is located in the lovely and clean bay of Yaz (JAZ). From Budva it is easy to get there by taxi, only 5 Euros, so if a company of four, then it works out fine. The cost of sun loungers and umbrellas is 3 Euros per unit, but many sunbathe just like that on clean pebbles covered with a towel. The water there is of excellent transparency, the bay itself is the most beautiful, and even protected from the wind, so you are guaranteed beach pleasure. The beach is quite well equipped, sunbeds and umbrellas are different, for every taste, there are cafes and bars.
Perhaps someone will be interested that in this bay, on the left side, if you look at the sea, behind the rock is one of the nudist beaches of Montenegro. Fans of this business understand what it is about, but I want to warn those who are just curious and looking for adventure - it is better for single girls not to meddle there.

The fact is that one of the girls from our company, who decided to merge with nature and get complete relaxation on an almost empty beach, had an incident there, from which she could not recover for a long time. It turns out that everything is simple - fans of the rest “what mother gave birth to”, perceive it all as the norm of life, but local guys think differently - a beautiful girl came to show herself, which means that we must also demonstrate everything. Thank God, everything ended well, but the girl suffered a lot of fear, especially considering that the beach is rather deserted. Please note that the proximity of this beach will in no way disturb the peace of the rest, most likely, the majority of vacationers will not even notice its presence.

I highly recommend going there, at least once on an excursion - this is one of the best beaches on the Budva Riviera.

Slovenska Plaž a beach. What to say?
The beach is quite long, but in the season there are still people there, like herrings in a barrel - such a pleasure for an amateur. It should be noted that this beach is equipped with good infrastructure - here you will find bars, and restaurants, and cafes, and snack bars like "fast food", but of high quality, and even fishermen with the sale of their catch after 16.30 (closer to the Old Town). In some restaurants you can order the preparation of fresh seafood - 8 Euro per kilo, no matter what kind of living creatures you buy, moreover, this is with serving and service, I think this is a good price. On this beach there is a local open-air disco called "Trocadero" (not to be confused with a nightclub with the same name). There are also “changing rooms” - peculiar, look at the photo. Toilets are all paid, sun lounger + umbrella 10 Euro - bites. Then, there are a lot of water activities - also their own nuances, so be prepared.
Richard's Glava Beach is a small beach that literally squeezes into the Old Town on one side, and the rocks leading to Mogren Beach on the other. On this beach there is a bar where you can take a beer and sit in sun loungers for free and use the toilet (but this is if you are lucky to take a suitable table). There is a pier there, but it is dilapidated or not yet repaired. The bottom is large pebbles, but large stones are regularly removed from the beach. This beach is used by vacationers from Avala. It offers a gorgeous view from the Citadel in the Old City.

Mogren Beach is perhaps the most famous of the local beaches. In fact, there are two of them - Mogren-1 and Mogren-2. A picturesque path along the cliff leads to them just from the beach of Richard's Head. There is also a bay, which consists of two parts, which designate two beaches.

To the second Mogren, you will have to go through a wooden passage in the rock, and, at the initial stage, you will have to enter the water knee-deep, and maybe even higher. But this does not stop the fans of this place and there are also enough people there, perhaps a little less than on the first beach, but in the season, I mean, it will be dense there. On the beach, everything is available for a comfortable stay - bars, showers, toilets. On the second beach there is even something similar to a restaurant, but in early June it was still closed, so I can’t say for sure.

I can fully recommend Villa Pier to those who are not afraid of the immediate neighborhood with noisy streets and know how to turn a blind eye to shortcomings and treat them lightly and with humor.
