We went to rest for 10 days in May 2012, the three of us with my wife and daughter 1.5 years old. We booked a hotel and bought air tickets (Moscow, 28 thousand rubles in total) ourselves. We chose the Riviera hotel for the following reasons: our own playground and green areas, next to the sea. The room cost 70 euros, a total of 657 euros including tax. This money includes only breakfast, and dinner (buffet) is also available for hotel guests for 10 euros per person. As friends who stayed at the Palace later said, dinner was included there for 60 euros. We did not choose the Palace because of the smaller territory and descriptions on tourist sites, although there are more reviews about them and often they are better than about the Riviera (Monte Casa is not for a child, the rest sucks, they didn’t want to take villas in principle; but apartments in off-season, as it turned out, you can find it there for 25 euros, and the choice is great). But the Riviera as a whole was not disappointed. Booked through the site, no confirmation came, called them - confirmed. At the reception they speak Russian, but who cares. They gave us a baby cot, good, with wooden fences and linen. Room condition is good. The declared refrigerator is, of course, a mini-bar, partially filled, it’s impossible to store food in it, but we kept it - mostly sour milk for the child (we brought it with us in a refrigerator bag, the possibilities to buy what you need in Petrovac are limited). They cleaned every day, even for some reason changed used towels daily and sometimes changed bed linen, and in parts. There was only one joint: on one of the nights, a strong smell of iodine came from the hood in the room, and closer to the morning - perfume, after which we covered it with adhesive tape (we did not find out the reasons). The split system is shared (in the Palace there are separate air conditioners in the rooms), on cold days it was not possible to turn it on for heating. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent, the choice is large, the chef and waiters speak Russian or English and are generally pleasant to talk to, there are about 6 highchairs for children, they cook milk porridge. There is a gym, but the simulators are mostly "running and walking", power only two primitive ones. Already on departure, I found a computer in a dark closet near the reception, perhaps it is available for guests. There is a "beauty room" with massage. Swimming pool in the yard is normal. The presence of a territory with trees and flowers is, of course, very pleasant - especially considering that there are no parks in the city, and you can’t really walk in the mountains outside the city. However, "turning around" with a stroller will not work there, in fact there are only two paths on both sides of the hotel, and they are broken by stairs. In addition, this territory is accessible to everyone, which is actively used by Russian tourists living in the surrounding apartments. Just as actively, Russian children are destroying the glorious Riviera playground, under the benign glances of mothers who have saved on the hotel. The site is not bad, but a lot of things are broken and broken further by "guest performers" constantly, including in the house of the "children's club" (what will be there in the season... ). In general, as a hotel for families with children, the Riviera is perhaps the best in Petrovac, but the Palace is apparently not much worse, and if you refuse a ready-made breakfast and quality guarantees, you can look for apartments with a kitchen 2-2.5 times cheaper.
