Last spring, we vacationed with my wife and our young children in Montenegro on the Ulcinj Riviera, we chose this destination for a family vacation based on the stories of our friends. We decided to stay on the outskirts of the city of Ulcinj in the centuries-old olive groves at the top, we searched for a long time on the Internet where we could stay in Ulcinj, since the choice of hotels via the Internet is very limited, but we found an option with a stop at the zlataoliva hotel, after calling the owners of the apartments, they assured us that they will provide us with a transfer from the airport, and also helped to get tickets cheaper than the market value. After a conversation with the owners of the apartments, we decided to go to Montenegro. Arriving in May, Montenegro met us with good warm weather, the temperature was somewhere around 25 degrees. On the way from Tivat airport, we stopped at a market in the city of BAR where we bought food for the first time at the collective farm market: cheese and prosciutto, and of course tomatoes.
Arriving at the hotel, we found out that there was a family cafe at the hotel where our children were offered a special diet menu and always fresh food, because as we found out later, there are simply no others in Montenegro.
We left the children at the hotel for various circles, while we ourselves took walks in the mountains and went on various excursions.

The sea was calm, we really liked its azure and transparency, so we could snorkel and watch the underwater world.
We also visited the grottoes, and went kayaking, participated in rafting on the Tara River.
In general, Montenegro turned out to be a very beautiful and pleasant corner of our planet, no factories or cars for you. Silence and peace.
In general, I advise everyone to rest in Montenegro in Ulcinj. (and probably in the version tested by our family in zlataoliva)
