In short - the hotel is good, quite 4 stars. Minus - its own beach with an inconvenient entrance along the pier. Plus - you can climb onto the beach of a neighboring hotel, where the entrance is on the sand. True, the bay is shallow.
The food is ok, buffet with a good selection - especially for dinner.
The rooms are spacious enough, in-room safe (extra charge), refrigerator-minibar and TV. The closet is a little cramped - but it was just right for one.
Buses can take you to Mellieha for the beach and shops, to Paceville or Sliema for entertainment, to the ferry to Gozo.
Departure for excursions is well organized - at first, red minibuses take everyone to the collection point, and then they are taken by another transport with a guide. Red minibuses are returned to the hotel again.
