I want to share my impressions about the hotel, because. It took me a long time to decide which hotel to go to. Went to this hotel with my wife at the beginning of August 2009. The first thing I want to note is my own beautiful beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas (which not every 5 * hotel in Malta can boast of). But there are not so many sunbeds on the beach, so there will not be enough for everyone. But this problem did not affect us. We came to the beach at 7 o'clock, went to breakfast at 9 and then walked and lay around until 12. Slavs mostly like to relax on the beach, and all foreigners relax near the pools (there are about 3-4 of them, I don’t remember exactly because . didn’t swim in any), there are plenty of sunbeds there. To whom
this is not enough, you can walk 200 meters to the huge Mellieha Bay beach (this is probably the largest beach in Malta), but sunbeds and umbrellas are already paid there - 9 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella.
Separately, I want to note the sea in Malta. We have visited so many countries, but nowhere have we met such a clean sea with such clear water.

So let's go back to the hotel. All rooms in the hotel, every single one with a view of the sea, the beautiful bay. The rooms are quite spacious and tidy. They cleaned our rooms every day and also changed all the towels we used. True, I advise you to take beach towels with you, because. they are not included here. The hotel also has a large green area in the form of a park. At the hotel, we only attended breakfasts (which are no different from breakfasts in any European hotel), and we went to restaurants for lunch and dinner. Because we traveled a lot around the island, then we often ate not in Melekh, but there are good places there too. If you don’t want to go far, during the day there is a bar near the pool, where you can buy any snack (french fries, hamburgers, sandwiches, etc. ). At 100 meters from the hotel, in a place where the road from the hotel merges with the highway, there is a restaurant Costa Del Sol (you can eat well there), and there are many more places along the promenade). I just want to warn you that Malta has very large portions. For example, a portion of salad can hardly be mastered by two, so my wife and I always ordered, for example, one salad and one serving of pasta for two or something else.
Transport links are very convenient. Firstly, you can rent a car right at the hotel, but due to the left-hand traffic on the island and right-hand drive cars, this is not convenient for everyone. There is an easier option - on the highway, near the exit from the hotel there is a bus stop, from where you can take the bus to almost any city. We did not book any excursions, but went wherever we wanted. Raise your hand if you want to stop the bus or it will pass by. In the bus, in order to get out, you need to pull the rope stretched under the ceiling and then the driver will stop at the next stop. Payment is due at the entrance. Just do not throw away the ticket until the end of the trip, because. inspectors visit often. But in general, the buses are very cool (there are a lot of rare ones).
