First of all, I will say - do not believe all the nasty things that young spoiled teenagers write about the hotel on various sites! I am also a little, only 24, but I liked the hotel... Everything is close, everything is fine. This is my second time in Malta, so I will choose this hotel for the third time. I chose the HB type of food. I had breakfast and dinner at the Bay Street Hotel opposite - every morning and evening I went up to the very roof of the hotel on the escalator. It was a whole ritual! You walk along the freshly washed paths, casually discuss the weather with the janitor, who wishes you a pleasant day, and continue on to the rooftop restaurant. There, courteous girls and one man, always smiling, will accept a voucher for food and offer to join the rest of the breakfasters. Well, what can I say, breakfast is continental - it is almost the same everywhere. Omelet, sausages, bacon, two types of juice, three types of cereal, milk, jam, butter, croissants, and coffee, of course. I enjoyed dinner more than breakfast. I will say that every day the restaurant prepares three types of meat dishes: pork / beef, poultry, fish. Lots of salads for all tastes. Especially sophisticated for vegetarians. For dessert, apples, wonderful fruit salad, cakes, etc. The staff is very sane. As soon as I sat down with a plate to eat, they came up to ask about drinks (I remind you that this is natural when drinks in the evening at dinner for a fee). Then, during the whole evening, they will come up and ask if everything is fine and if anything is needed. The hotel does not have a beach. But! When I was going to Malta to this hotel, I went to this site to read reviews. My horror and grief knew no bounds. Lord! If you want to spoil your impression in advance, read the reviews further. Contrary to my expectations, the hotel's rooftop pool was thoroughly cleaned and smelled of bleach (meaning there was little or no bacilli in the water). During my entire two-week stay at the hotel, only a young family with two children rested in the rooftop pool (there is a Frog section in the pool). Everywhere is clean, great and wonderful. The room environment is acceptable. I had three beds, which I was afraid of at first. Although I did not allow the thought that, as in Russia, they could hook up someone else. The room has a wardrobe with a bunch of hangers, air conditioning, heating (probably for winter), a wastebasket with a bag, a mirror, a hair dryer, a TV, a mini-bar, a safe, a telephone. Well, it’s very expensive to pay for a safe (I kept my documents in a travel suitcase with a mini-lock. I think if I find out the loss from the suitcase, I’ll give them all a Kuzka’s mother there at the reception! ), I didn’t need a mini-bar (it also for a fee), but I wanted a TV. At the neighbors by number, the telly showed. I have no. Then I discovered that there was no antenna plugged in. She wasn't there at all! Maybe a TV too for extra. fee? Well, it doesn't matter... Bathroom: a hefty mirror to the floor of the wall. Great big sink. All fixtures are brand new! No bath - shower. They did this to conserve water. Again, plenty of fresh towels. Which changed after I used it one single time. Disguising a towel as unused did not help - they still found it among the clean ones and changed it. Cleaned up every day. I didn't leave a tip because I don't know how. I know what they put on the bed. How many did not leave so - it is useless. Do not take. I didn't have any personal contact with the cleaning staff. But one day the top of my swimsuit fell down from my balcony (2nd floor). Moreover, he fell so that in order to get it, he had to go down the floor below (the windows and the balcony overlooked the fenced area). I went to the reception to ask to open the room under mine to get it. So that girl, not only did she open the number, which was more suitable, but she herself (! ) Climbed for the lost thing! Which made me a little embarrassed.
