I usually don't write reviews and I think that reviews are usually written by people who were dissatisfied with the rest. But this time I can not resist, because positive emotions are bursting. Before the trip, I read reviews of other tourists, studied other offers for a long time and eventually chose Corinthia Marina. Friendly staff, excellent location, good food - these are the hallmarks of this hotel. She lived in Marine and went to the pool to San George. The territory is common, but near the San George pool, they constantly indulged in free soft drinks 2 times a day and snacks. Agree, a trifle - but nice! The pools are not heated, but during the day they warm up quite well. The sea was still cold, so the pool saved.
I had BB, but in the evening I ate at the restaurant at the hotel, by the way, quite inexpensively. Prices are not sky-high as usual in hotels, but normal, at the city level. The beach (sandy) is located close to the hotel and not all hotels in Malta can boast such an advantageous neighborhood. If you want to scuba dive, ride a catamaran, jet ski - please, you don’t have to go far, again, everything is on site. Well, if you decide to break away at a discotheque, the street where the doors of nightclubs were friendly opened is very close - you won’t even have to spend money on a taxi in the morning. However, loud music does not annoy the hotel guests, yes, sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea, you can hear it, but not to such an extent that it interferes with rest.
When choosing a hotel where you are going to spend your holidays, you, like me, probably expect the best value for money. Perhaps the hotel occupies one of the best locations (quite a quiet place, but everything is close). According to this parameter, it can be compared with the Westin Dragonara, which also has a large territory and access to the sea. Or with Intercontinental, which, although it does not have such a territory, reserves part of the city beach for its guests. But not with Le Meridien which is located in a noisy part of the city, in the center of St. Julians on a hill. And where the tourists go to sunbathe and swim, I'll never know! So you compare the prices and you will understand that you will not find a better holiday for the money! Good luck and enjoy your holiday in Malta!
