I also want to add about food. Yes, large portions are almost everywhere in Malta, but they almost always have a standard set. That is, regardless of whether it is fish or meat, there will be french fries and lettuce leaves as a side dish. On average, for two of us, dinner came out (along with beer and wine) about 20-30 euros. The most expensive dinner (and the most delicious) cost us 50 euros. But we are SO full!!
About the fishing town of Marsaxlokk. I do NOT recommend dining there. Yes, fish is sold on the market, but in nearby restaurants it is terribly expensive, and the portions are sooooo small (even smaller than ours) This is probably the only place in Malta where they save on food
