I always went out and knew what I would eat this morning.
Everyone was satisfied.
Among the advantages I can note:
- good, helpful and attentive staff;
- a delicious menu in a Thai restaurant (we tried almost all dishes except meat) and very attentive waiters, especially the girl, even spoke Russian with us)) slightly.
- my husband really liked the miso soup for breakfast mostly)) was really tasty))
- spacious empty beach;
- the presence of different types of fish, which are fashionable to look at and not only (we saw a lot of things from reef to medium sharks, several solid turtles, rays, etc. )
- I really liked lunches and dinners with delivery to the villa, it is very convenient from the water immediately to the plate and back))) and most importantly, the guys brought food really quickly, 15-20 minutes)
- in our villa there was a large enough pool to splash around after salt water or in the evening.
- a great bathroom where you can lie in the open-air bath or bathe in the shower, there is a small garden in the bathroom)
- wonderful spa. really enjoyed the massage
- you can walk barefoot, which we used to the full, for all the time we never put on shoes.
Cons that I noticed:
- in ordinary beach villas, which are called Beach Villas from the side of the lagoon towards Lagoon Villas, there are washed out sections of the beach and sandbags, so some people who settled there crawled down to the beach along a wooden staircase (initially, we also took this type of room for ourselves, but there were no free ones, so I had to take it higher, and when I saw these blurry ones I was very glad. But in general, I want to note that these are only a few residential villas of this kind, the rest of the blurred ones are already closed and tours are not sold in them. (I will attach a photo)
- the reef of the island itself is partially dead, more precisely, by 80 percent, so you won’t be able to see a colored reef here, but as I already wrote above, there are a lot of living creatures, therefore it compensates.
- far from Male, 130 km, those who want to go on excursions or shopping in the capital will not succeed.
In general, we were very pleased with the rest, as we went there with a great mood and attitude, and in principle it met all our expectations.

But you really forget about shoes on the second day - sanded paths are everywhere, and instead of TV - a book on your beach. We took BV - a nice house, a four-poster bed (apparently to protect against mosquitoes and small lizards), there must be a mosquito fumigator in the room, although mosquitoes were not noticed on the island. Outdoor shower and toilet.
Around the island is a house reef. Masks and fins for snorkeling are provided free of charge. Fish - all colorful, nimble. We even met a turtle and a Manta Rey.
The main thing in the hunt for fish is to dress up, because the back burns out in a few minutes. On the beach there are crustaceans and white crabs, also the island is full of small lizards and flying dogs. In general, the nature is gorgeous, there were no dangerous animals or insects.
Meals were taken by HB - the food is very good, the choice of dishes is large, a bit too much curry (maybe this is a feature of their cuisine), desserts / fruits / ice cream.
For news lovers, there is free Wi-Fi at the reception, so you can take your laptop.
We went out of season - in May, so we got 1.5 days of rain, but then it cleared up and it was hot.
There are distillers on the island, so there are no problems with water on the island. In addition, every day they bring 1 liter of drinking water of their own production to the room.

I rested with my husband at the coco palm dhuni kolhu hotel from July 20-31.2008. The hotel is wonderful, the food is excellent. We were the only Russians on the island, but this did not interfere with our rest at all. , my husband spoke very well in English.
