Why Malaysia? ) Yes, because after summer Bulgaria they planned autumn Vietnam, but after receiving the final calculation of the voucher, they abandoned the idea of flying to Southeast Asia at all. They didn’t fly, they didn’t fly, here on TV they show the handsome Petronas... so here it is! ) Ready trip, and even with a beach holiday in Langkawi.

The route has been chosen, the cost has been calculated, the Internet has rustled - for departure.

From an airplane, the evening view of Kuala Lumpur is an impressive sight: a sea of lights, modern lighting, car junctions - all this shimmers and sparkles.

The airport is large, we go together with everyone - so as not to get lost) at the exit we pay for a taxi to the Corus Hotel 4 * 67RM.

Initially, we planned to spend two full days in Kuala Lumpur. But the flight was delayed for a day and instead of two days, only one was given to Kuala Lumpur.

From the very morning, prepared with materials from the Internet about visiting the Petronas, we stocked up on tickets to the observation bridge. Visiting time 13:00h. In order not to waste time at the hotel parking lot, we took a taxi, agreed with the driver on the route and sped off to the Minara TV tower. We looked at the city with interest from the observation deck, took good photos against the background of Petronas - there is a special place there and drove to the Royal Palace. They are not allowed inside the territory of the palace, but the guard on horseback is beautiful)

The time of the famous towers came, at exactly 13 o'clock we were on the bridge - I will not say that I was impressed. True) after Bayokskaya with its observation spinning height, the Petronas bridge passed for us somehow as usual, but we could not visit)

And then the taxi driver took us to Muslim shrines. . . the oldest mosque in the country, Masjid Janek, the Jame mosque, the Masjid Negara mosque. There were prayers everywhere. I was categorically not allowed anywhere, although the taxi driver immediately warned that it would only be possible to see from afar. The photos on the background turned out to be very interesting) My men were also not allowed anywhere, despite the fact that there were signs “For tourists”, warning signs hang at the entrances. A very strange feeling from mosques, both beautiful and austere, everything is so historical and carries a real value.

After the mosques - Bird Park. You can talk about the park for a long time, the impressions are the most optimistic. We walked there with all our hearts, hand-fed ostriches, peacocks, parrots. Peacocks are not afraid, they come close and peck from the palms. Parrots in a special compartment, we, as true Russian tourists, conscientiously taught the birds to pronounce "Fool"))) There is a waterfall, a pond, a children's corner with slides and swings, a show with parrots, a room where chickens are born) Peacocks spread their tails together after 3 hours of the day, important people walked along the paths of the park along with visitors. We gave the park more than two hours, the boys were delighted, so interesting)

After the park we went to the Batu Caves. The statue can be seen from a distance. . .

Without hesitation, we decided that we would climb up and stomp) The steps into the cave are not just up, but vertically up. At the top there are souvenir shops, then again stairs and places for services. It was the monks who performed some rituals: candles burned, something smelled pleasant, specific music - the people stood and listened. At the very top, the monkeys begged for food, could not resist - they gave bananas)

The day was already at sunset, the boys were tired of constant stomping up and from the heat, it was decided to stop by to see Merdeka Square and return to the hotel. By the time we got to the square, it was already dark. The square is the most beautiful place in the city, with the highest flagpole in the world, everything is lit, the illumination is well thought out.

By this time, the whole of Kuala Lumpur began to light up, there was a feeling that the buildings compete in front of each other, who looks more beautiful under the night sky... )

After sunset, the heat subsided a little, and the children had a "second wind") We came from the hotel to the Petronas, walked in the park, sat near the fountain, went to the shopping complex - had dinner there. There was no purpose of shopping, therefore, without delay, we reached the children's town. After a busy day of excursions, we sat quietly resting, admiring the towers, while the boys rushed along all the slides, swings and children's activities) they barely then took us to the hotel - to sleep.

And the next day flew to Langkawi)

Now we remember how we were in Kuala Lumpur, what we saw, we look at the photos - like it) a huge metropolis. Modern, clean, cultured, with its own history, with its own customs. We, of course, could not see everything in one day, but what we managed to do will be remembered)
