We planned the trip in advance and went with my husband as savages to conquer Asia and Singapore : ) : ) : )

Singapore 1 day

Kuala Lumpur 5 days

Langkawi 11 days

Kuala Lumpur 2 days

Singapore 2 days

The exchange rate in rubles is something like this:

1 singa bucks - 25 rubles 1 ringgit - 10 rubles

In dollars: 1 c. u. - 3.5 ringit 1 c. u. - 1.5 singa bucks

In euros: 1 euro - 4.5 ringit 1 euro - 1.9 singa bucks

The Emirates flew through Dubai, tickets cost 42.000 rubles for two. The company is super, everything that is written about comfort in flight is 100% true. Through the Internet, they even chose a special menu, so for the sake of interest, and what do you think, everyone brought it, they didn’t mix anything up !!!

So! We flew to Singapore, there were no problems with a transit visa, I don’t know why many people write that they don’t let someone in, our entire plane was allowed in : ) day and lips bye. Here we had almost the whole day, we planned in advance that we would go around the hotels that we chose via the Internet and choose one so that we would not have to think about it on the way back. So they did, went around the hotels, but we didn’t like anything, we decided to leave it for later. Honestly, I wasted my time, just wandered around the city, looked at the buildings, parks and other sights that came across along the way. I must say right away that if you wake up to catch a taxi, in no case do not ask how much the fare costs, otherwise you will pay double the price. Just sit down and name the final destination, the taxi driver turns on the meter, presses some more buttons and off we go.

In the morning, the first flight of Air Asia flew to Kuala Lumpur. It turns out very cheap if you book and pay through the Internet, and you do not need to spend a lot of time moving from city to city. We bought round-trip tickets, through the Internet it turned out for two together with 30 kg of luggage, a little less than 100 dollars. Fly somewhere 30-40 minutes.

And here is the long-awaited Kuala Lumpur. We took an official taxi at the Airport, it turned out 63 ringit. The airport is located far from the city, so it's a normal price. We got to the Mandarin Hotel, we didn’t like it there, it smells terrible of bleach. And we decided to take a taxi again and leisurely choose a hotel. We agreed in advance on hourly payment, 30 ringit per day. We rode around hotels for a long time, dirty rooms everywhere. We stopped at Grand Continental 3 stars. Arranged cleanliness, price, pool, room. Without breakfast, the cheapest room was 160 ringit. We settled in and never wished. Let's go shopping in the pool, take a steam bath in the sauna, everything is free!! ! Get enough sleep!! ! Here's what we liked and I advise others to see too: Twin Towers, Bird Park + Butterfly Park (the rest is up to you), Batu Caves and for lovers of the unusual, look at Putrajaya, Cyberjaya (we were in these cities at night, it's cool, there are no people, everything is highlighted , but the truth occasionally becomes ugly from all this, the feeling that the city has been abandoned). Then we had to get to Langkawi, went to the bus station, in any information center, I'll tell you where it is, or look at the map yourself. At the station, we bought tickets for the last bus at 22:00, the tickets cost 82 ringit for two, it took six and a half hours to get to the pier. I warn you right away, the bus stops once and only after 3 hours, so do all the needs in advance : ). We reached the end, the bus closed the doors and left. It is night in the yard, there is no one on the street, since the lanterns are burning everywhere, you need to go to the pier, if it’s 5 minutes along the road, and if you cut it off, then 3 minutes. The first ferry to Langkawi leaves at 7:00 in the morning, ticket offices open at 6:00, tickets for two are 36 ringit, sail for an hour and a half. I warn you in advance, if there are a lot of people, immediately look at the tickets for the numbers of your seats and sit in yours, otherwise you will be driven to your heart's content : ).

Sailed to Langkawi in Kuah. Here at the pier you can buy tickets for the return trip, including the bus, the only thing is, tickets are sold only the day before departure. We took a taxi and went to choose a hotel. We talked on the way with a taxi driver and he advised us the hotel. We wanted a pool, a clean room, breakfast and a price no more than $40. The taxi driver immediately suggested this Asiania hotel to us. And really cool hotel, huge pool. And thanks to a kind taxi driver, we checked into a room for, if I'm not mistaken, 130 or 135 ringit with breakfast. I will say right away, ask to be shown several rooms and preferably with a view of the pool. I explain why: there are rooms with a view of the road, they cost the same, they are smaller in size and there is no view from the window. Settled! We immediately went to inspect the nearby territory, or rather the beach... I liked the beach, but there were a lot of people, since this is the most party beach on the island. 5 minutes walk to the Oceanarium and Duty Free, just go to the big one, there are two of them, one big, the other smaller, the big one is cheaper and there is more choice (1 liter of tequila 54 ringgit, 1 liter of bacardi rum 37 ringgit, 1 liter of amarula 52 ringgit), 10 minutes walk to the Rice Museum. We thought and decided, called our taxi driver and asked for help in renting a car. And an hour later we had a protom waja sedan. Bargained for 11 days, along with gasoline $ 200. It turned out cheaper than in any car rental office. So if you need the coordinates of a taxi driver write. We saw all the sights of the island. Here's what I really liked: 2 bud. temples, they are not on the map, but if you need coordinates, write, you can even stay in one, it’s free, but you will need to work, the cable car is SUPER! , be sure to visit the Barn Thai restaurant (I’ll tell you dinner right away without wine it will cost 150 ringit, but it's worth it), Tanjong Thy beach (if I'm not mistaken, it's called that, there are two hotels on it, it's always clean and very few people), mangrove tour + fish farm + eagle feeding (180 ringit for the boat, since we rented a boat for two), tiger island + pregnant woman island (80 ringit for two), perdan gallery (there are collected gifts for the prime minister), rice museum, well, if finances allow, rent a boat for fishing (200 ringit for 3-4 hours), in Kuah on the pier, look at the eagle and the Langkawi Legends park, if you wish, go up the mountain by car, the road is 23 km, the hotel is located there, very beautiful views. You can visit the aquarium if you don’t go to Singapore, where it is a hundred times better on Sentosa. Bargain everywhere, except for fixed prices. 11 days flew by unnoticed. And we went back to Kuala Lumpur. Ferry last at 19:00, last bus at 22:00.

We arrived in Kuala Lumpur around 5-6 am. We left our things at the hotels and went for a walk, shops and markets opened at 10, bought souvenirs and various things. Be sure to bargain on the market, as I managed to bring down some prices from 400 ringit to 40, like a fool, and suddenly they will buy it. : ) : ) : ) For example: magnets from 1 to 5 ringit, T-shirts from 7 to 25 ringit, leather bags from 10 to 50 ringit, leather bags from 100 to 150 ringit, shoes from 5 to 50 ringit. There are very good and inexpensive shops at the Central station, they are located right in the station lobby, but again, before buying something, I advise you to compare prices in several places.

To be continued. . .
