Part 3

After spending one night in the Grand Hotel in Prague, we managed to appreciate it. After inspecting a whole bunch of hotels, we found some of them where the rooms are much inferior to public places. So it was here. For all the splendor of the lobby, restaurant and spa area, the rooms left much to be desired (at least ours). I have already written about plumbing, and the refrigerator was roaring terribly, and there was a lot of tension with the sockets - to charge the tablet, I had to push back the bedside table behind which she (the socket) was hiding and pull the plug from the night light. And we did not have time to use the local pool - we returned late in the evening, and in the morning we had to go. Well, and well, we had enough and the water park.

It was clear but cool. The tops of the mountains were a little dusted with snow.

I, like a saiga, jumped all over the bus to make a good shot.

But there were few of them - glare on the glass, then the trees. In general, do not judge harshly.

Arrived in Zakopane. While getting to the hotel - I smiled, reading some names. How do you like - "Villa Anus". Or here's another - "Pipisia". Our new hotel was called less funny - "Nosal yard", named after a mountain nearby. Almost a hundred meters across the road there was a good, red descent, but, as our local guide told us, for two years now the cable car has not been working - the two owners did not agree with each other, so they decided it was easier to close. Strange!

The hotel consists of three parts - threes (wooden, very nice houses), fours (where we lived) and fives (glass and concrete). Quickly settling in, we went to see the local hotels, but before that in the lobby bar we were treated to a local liqueur with a funny name "Soplika".

It was cherry and quince.

My neighbor does not drink, so I drank her glass, too, thus trying both varieties. What better not to say. As in that anecdote:

- Girls, what will you drink - vodka or alcohol?

- Oh, we don't even know, everything is so delicious!

Raising their already great mood, they happily went to perform their professional duties. However, today we were promised to be tortured only until the first hour of the day, and then - schwaboda!

Hotels are all good - from simple to luxurious. But there are no skibas here. Yes, but minibuses cost 3 zlotys, but they are small, and how to get to the slopes with their own ammunition - it is unclear. And many houses are 300 meters from the road. Scratch your shoes to the stop!

My current "colleagues" have skied several times in their lives (at best), and they tried to tell me that normal skiers take their equipment directly on the slope, to which I objected that wearing shoes from someone else's shoulder (sorry, feet) is it's like wearing someone else's sweaty socks. They (rolled shoes) inside have a foam sock that will absorb the sweat of more than a dozen feet. Brrr! And rolling skis are also dangerous to wear. I am sure that my relatives will unbuckle at the right moment and their legs will remain intact. And the rental is still set up incorrectly! However, this is my vision of things. Everyone decides for himself. I just decided that Zakopane was not for me.

In the last hotel "Borovyanka" we had a pleasant surprise - a free lunch, which consisted of a very tasty soup and already tried liqueur.

The soup was called "sourdough" and was made from potatoes, finely chopped cabbage and smoked ribs.

And we planned to lose weight in Poland!

After lunch, they scattered. I was not interested in sitting in cafes, shopping too, so I decided to climb the mountain and, of course, on foot. After passing through the market, I reached the slope of Gubalivka mountain. At least that's the name on the funicular station, which could be climbed, but why me? Twenty zlotys I can find another application. Effortlessly finding the way, began the climb, along the way assessing the steepness of the slope. Like nothing, sometimes even black! After spending fifty minutes climbing, she found a whole street upstairs, consisting of cafes and souvenir stalls. Walking here and there, I met two girls from our group who climbed here by cable car, and asked them to take pictures of themselves against the backdrop of the mountains.

After coming down from the mountain, I wandered around the market for a while, hung over the sheep's skin for a moment, but forced myself to leave.

It seems necessary, but not very much. There are three skins in the dacha - deer and goat skins, there is no lamb. But it is so white, and the dacha is a dacha, the fireplace rises and it will not stay white for long.

I decided to walk to the hotel, although it is far from the center. On the way she met three "colleagues", including her neighbor. Nice talking, and did not notice how to get to the hotel. Only something I froze. It was warmer to go up the mountain : )). As my companions told me, from the mountain where I just was, do not ski! That's right! And where to ride?

There was still time before dinner, so we decided to visit the local pool. But that's a failure, no gowns! We are already accustomed to the fact that in Slovakia all four of them wore gowns, but in Poland - no, only in the superiors. She put on her silk.

The pool is in four, and we were very comfortable - went down the elevator to minus the first floor, and you're there.

But the residents of the five, who also used our pool, had to go through the crossing. And of the three - and in general on the street. There is a locker room - separate: )))), towels are issued. But only 2 Jacuzzis. Agree that three big hotels are somehow not enough. The time was still quite early, so we managed to capture one of the two. A family with two children was sitting next door, one of whom was in a diaper! ! ! ! ! And where is the guard looking? I sat for five minutes, and I got tired. I swam here and there in the pool, went to visit the sauna. Went to a completely empty wet steam room. I felt cold there. Went to the dry, also empty. Warm, until the ants ran! Something is wrong with the body, apparently, the recurrence of the common cold.

It's time for dinner, which we went to the restaurant of five. Mom dear! Lose weight here!

What was not there, including cheese dumplings and fried salmon. And the choice of fruit was simply amazing.

And a compliment from the hotel - a glass of wine! As it turned out, I sat so well - among my neighbors were three, for various reasons, non-drinking girls at the time, whom I asked not to give up their portion of wine. So the evening was nothing for me, but for such a snack! Then they offered to continue to the billiard room, which was scored for us, but I, firstly, am not a player in billiards (or right - not a gambler? ), And secondly, I already had enough. So my non-drinking neighbor and I went to the room. The room, by the way, is good, only the mini-bar is closed, and you can't put your sausage there. I have never seen toilets with hinged door leaves, and even mirrors, both outside and inside. Above the bed is a panoramic view of the mountains, and in the bathroom on the glass of the shower is a pendulum lift car.

A small bottle of water is given out per day.

Talked late.

Here I was pierced, something went wrong about the holiday, and the girl clung. I had to admit. However, nothing terrible happened. She wasn't even very surprised. And I didn't communicate very closely with the rest of the band, the topics of conversation were different, and I was always almost sober. So they remained in ignorance.

In the morning, a helicopter was found outside the window - a bump that arrived. We went down for breakfast - God! Better dinner! There was even a real brie! I haven't eaten it in a hundred years. Since the dollar took off, it has simply disappeared from our stores - few can afford to buy it. So now we have to be satisfied with Dobryana, although he is at a good price, but not that. And there was the famous soup zhurek, but in the morning I did not stop it, decided to go bankrupt and try in a cafe.

There were hotels again, and free time.

I never saw where to ride in Zakopane - Shimashkov's slope was shown from afar - it is quite gentle, and somewhere on the other side, as if there is a mountain, steeper, but we never saw it. Not dense! And the town is a lot! Thirty thousand locals. And how many hotels! And where do they all ride?

Since we were not treated anywhere today, we went with a neighbor to have a snack in a cafe. For this purpose, I exchanged 5 euros in the office (so or almost they call exchangers). I just had enough for soup and a glass of beer. Beer taste (and price) did not differ from the Slovak. The soup is interesting, but I liked the sourdough more. The neighbor took the check to herself - it turns out that travel agents are paid for travel and food, like they are on a business trip. After wandering around the shops, but did not buy anything, returned to the hotel.

We went to the pool, met ours in bathrobes (it turns out they could be taken at the reception), had a great dinner (but without wine) and slept.

In the morning, having breakfast and moving out, we went to Krakow, but on the way we stopped at another ski resort - Bialka Tatsanska. There are very children's slides, but the coolest local hotel with a cool name "Bath" is completely sharpened for families with children. Yes, I was in the bath!

Just after leaving the Squirrel, we got into a traffic jam, in which we crawled for about an hour. As it turned out, the reason was that there is a huge open-air market nearby, where Slovaks come to buy, because in Slovakia with their euros, prices are higher than in Poland with their zlotys. While crawling, watching the local entertainment - the plane dragged the glider, and then threw, fly as you like!

Then the picture was not so pleasant - in the oncoming lane four cars that hit the locomotive.

Did it happen as a result of a traffic jam, or was the traffic jam the result of an accident?

Well, Krakow has finally appeared in a pink-gray haze. This is no longer a mountain for you - the air is not the same! After looking at a few more hotels and refreshed instead of dinner with a few toffees, taken at one of the receptions, went to settle. Hotel "Ibis 3 *" did not impress. The room is tiny, the elevator goes up only if you insert the key card from the room. (That's how picky I became! ). Quickly getting myself in order, we went downstairs, where we were already waiting for a guide Valentina, who took us on a tour. My neighbor, referring to ill health, stayed at the hotel.

Valentina, according to our manager, was a real maniac of her business (in a good way), so she was warned not to bother us for a long time, and in an hour and a half she showed us everything.

She tried very hard, she wanted to make it to the castle, but we didn't make it - they closed the bars in front of our noses!

We went to see the dragon - he honored us with flames. But it was getting dark, the photos came out so-so. Although I do not like the city, I must admit - Krakow is worthy to see it (well, yes, for 3-4 hours: ))))).

People stayed to enjoy the local cuisine, and I went back to the hotel. It is located, by the way, ten minutes walk from the center, near the Krakow Gallery. The elevator refused to go, even with a card, even without. I went to look for the stairs - with grief I found them in half. By the way, we pumped up our buttocks quite a bit in this infotour. Not everyone could fit in the elevators, although we tried, so we sometimes had to walk. In one of the hotels, stuffed more than necessary, we got stuck and we were released for fifteen minutes.

After that, we carefully read the plates, which indicate the load capacity, then evaluated their neighbors on the complexion and the extra ruthlessly expelled. So the third floor in Ibis on foot - just shit!

Finding the absence of a neighbor who wanted to go to the Krakow Gallery, waiting for me, she quickly had a snack brought from home and never printed smoked sausages, also went there. After going to several stores, and not finding anything interesting for myself (I'm not a shopaholic), I went back. The neighbor has already returned, also not buying anything. She said that the prices in Kyiv are the same.

Having breakfast at the hotel (not as chic as in Zakopane), went to get on the bus. At the entrance stood an aunt with white lambskin in her hands. Sold for 25 euros. Obeying an incomprehensible impulse, she got twenty. I think he will give - I will take, he will not give - and it is not necessary. Gave up. Here's a pancake! I don't know why I need it, but I have to! We went home.

A few kilometers to the border I turned on the phone, the MTS antenna was already there, and I called home perfectly. But neither Kyivstar nor Life has been fishing abroad for a long time.

The people manually set something up there. No one detained us at the border, Polish border guards quickly pushed us out of their territory, and ours also quickly took us into their arms. The procedure took a little less than an hour. Nobody checked what we import. Banners flickered in plain language, some of them announcing that they had banosh. Original advertising! (For those who do not know - banosh is such a Carpathian porridge).

People began to look for train tickets to Kyiv on the Internet, because everyone was going without tickets - it was a bit like the return trip. I was also ticketless, but I expected to go by train Mariupol-Lviv. The Internet showed that there were no tickets to Kyiv.

Everyone hoped that in two hours they would remove some armor, and for now we could go for a walk in Lviv (oh, the people didn't finish! ). Dropped different currency to the driver (they have such a tradition). She tore 100 hryvnias from her heart.

Well, I will not tire you anymore, I'm tired of writing. I will only say that there were no tickets to Mariupol, I had to go through Kyiv again, break in at 2 am to spend the night with friends and then wander around the capital in the afternoon. I spent about 2.500 hryvnias on travel and visa and 60 euros on any garbage.

Emotions sea, and almost all positive. Quick change of impressions is mine! I can't sit in one place for a long time. Thank you to everyone - Admin, Vera, Michael, and especially Tatiana for organizing this trip. And special thanks to all the tourists who read this. It is not interesting to write when no one reads!

So, in 7 days, thanks to Turpravda and "Flashtravel", the "exiled Cossack" together with other travel agents saw:

- the oldest ski resort in Slovakia - Smokovec. It is the administrative center of the highest Tatras. Height difference 800–1480 m;

- Tatranska Lomnica with a height difference of 785-2200 m and 12 lifts (4 cable cars, 1 chairlift, 7 tow). The total length of the trails is 10 km (including 1 difficult, 3 medium, 4 easy);

- one of the most famous Slovak ski centers Strebske Pleso. Located in the High Tatras. It has the highest location compared to other resorts in Slovakia. Altitude difference 600-1915 m. The total length of the trails is 4.5 km, there are 5 ski lifts, 2 springboards (70 and 90 m);

- ski resort in the Low Tatras Jasna. There are 21 km of trails of various lengths with height differences from 85 to 1085 m. The trails are equipped with 13 lifts (8 toboggans, 4 chairlifts, one cabin);

- the "winter capital" of Poland, Zakopane. Briefly about the resort: located at the foot of the Polish Tatras, the height difference from 850 m to 1120 m, the length of the trails - more than 60 km, equipped with lifts.

Speaking of personal impressions, I liked the Slovak Jasna more than anything else.

Well, summing up, so to speak, the final border under the Polish-Slovak infotour, I give a list of hotels seen in it. They are listed in alphabetical order as the stars grow:
