In general, I had to get to Krakow. But given that at that time there were no direct flights (now, I heard, Aeroflot plans to fly to Krakow as well), I flew to Warsaw, and, well, I stopped for a day.
I love this city very much. Despite the fact that this is still the capital and not the smallest state in Europe, it is so calm and provincial, in the good sense of the word, comfortable here. This is what I always miss in Moscow. With pleasure I walked around the old city, stopped by my favorite park. And the next day I went to Krakow. It's good that there is no direct flight! A day in Warsaw is a great pleasure.
Now about the hotel. The main task was - inexpensive, but closer to the station, since I went to Krakow by train. The option offered by the travel agency turned out to be more than acceptable. And 4 *, and inexpensive (the hotel in Krakow was even more expensive, although it was 3 *), and 10 minutes to the station. It is part of the Novotel chain, which somehow guarantees an acceptable level of service.

More than pleased with the hotel. For the price, it's just great. It is completely standard, just right for such business trips. Tower. I lived on the top floor, panoramic view of the whole city!
The room is standard, clean, good plumbing.
The hotel has a couple of souvenir shops. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby, but for some reason my laptop did not connect.
Small breakfast room. The breakfast is good, you can eat. I was surprised that they served for losing weight, apparently, seedlings of sunflower seeds !! ! First time I've come across this. At first I took it for a test, every time I’ve been losing weight since Monday, and then I saw an ordinary seed at the bottom of the plate, and a sprout stretches out of it - and was surprised!
The downside is that the tables at breakfast were dirty - they cleaned up quickly, either they thought that no one else would come, or they couldn’t cope. As a result, I ate at a dirty table with stains and crumbs, I could not wait, I was already in a hurry.
By the way, again pleasantly surprised by local prices. From the airport to the city center - without traffic jams, literally in 15 minutes. And in terms of rubles, the trip - unlike Moscow - cost only 250 rubles. I love you Warsaw!! !
