Ski slopes, walks, local cuisine - everything was super. The tour was chosen unexpectedly. Just came with friends to the office. Come with us and ask if there is something inexpensive, interesting, suitable for young people. We were offered to book a place in the boarding house Adria (Zakopane) - the best option in terms of price and quality. We are very pleased with the rest and the hotel in particular. I recommend this hotel.

"It's good that you only have to spend the night for 1 night! " I thought when I saw the number. And with a shudder I imagined my stay in this hotel if I decided to come to Zakopane for a week of skiing. The biggest drawback concerns, first of all, the last floor of the hotel - the attic ceilings. When combined with a tiny room (in principle, this is normal for a "winter" hotel), such an inconvenience turns into real torture for people whose height reaches at least 170 cm! As it turned out later, we were still lucky - in our bathroom the ceilings were ordinary, and in other rooms in the shower we had to tilt our heads 45 ° to wash ourselves. … More ▾ "It's good that you only have to spend the night for 1 night! True, we also had a "gift" in our bathroom - the toilet bowl almost freely "traveled" across the floor at a distance of several centimeters in any direction. And the water from under it flowed constantly - I had to sacrifice one towel. They no longer asked to change the number, anticipating where we could be relocated.
Breakfast is a whole different story! I have never seen such a circus! The ways of supplying boiling water to the dining room for tea brewing can be different, but imagine that first in the kitchen they boil water in an ordinary electric kettle (2-2.5 l) - 1 kettle for 30 people !! ! - then this water is COOLED (!!! ) in order to be able to pour it into a GLASS decanter, which is then placed on the table. Not only did we wait 20 minutes for our decanter, but the tea brewed in this way turned into slop.
Hence the question: is it really impossible to take a couple of kettles into the hall so that people themselves boil water ?? ? Moreover, there is no shortage of teapots in the hotel - each room has its own unit! If I had known about this, I would have taken the kettle from my room.
The food at breakfast was also disappointing: no variety, with a clear claim to "home" cuisine, but half is absolutely inedible. . .
Pros: perhaps the location, 5 minutes walk to the main street. Cons: Lots - low attic ceilings, tiny room, faulty plumbing, no elevator, poor breakfast. Actually, it's a bit of a pleasure to live in the attic, isn't it?
