The sea port of Khor Fakkan is located in the southern part of the bay of the same name. Here are the deepest waters, which is a great convenience for ships, cruise liners, and also reduces their travel time by several days. Not far from the modern port is the old harbor of Khor Fakkan, the first mention of which was recorded in the 16th century. The first recordings were made by the Italian Gasparo Balbi in 1550. Entries in the Meerkat's logbook have also been found, referring to a small fort located on the east coast of the UAE.→
