The next building behind the Landhaus is the Arsenal (Herrengasse, 16). It was once the largest weapons storage in Austria, which originated in the 16th century as defense against the Turks and Magyars required a permanent military presence in the region. Now here is a museum, which presents the world's largest collection of medieval weapons. The cost of visiting is 9 euros. Please note that the museum is closed on Tuesday, and during the off-season period (November to March) visits are only possible with a guided tour at 11.→
