Alpine artificial lake is located at an altitude of 1782 m. The semicircular dam has a height of 131 m and a length of 725 m, forming a reservoir with a volume of 126.5 million cubic meters. In summer, there are guided tours around the dam and hydroelectric power station. One of the attractions of the reservoir is the bronze sculpture “Tamed Power”, which is located in front of the dam and symbolizes the superiority of people over the elements. The author of the sculpture is Albina Morodera.
