The new palace is part of the Hofburg Imperial Residence. Its semicircular building was built at the end of the 19th century. and was originally designed as part of the grandiose Imperial Forum, which was never fully implemented. Most of the New Wing of the Hofburg is occupied by the Austrian National Library Reading Room, and there are also several interesting museums here: the Ephesus Museum, the Hunting and Armory, the Collection of Ancient Musical Instruments, the Museum papyri, the Globe Museum and Ethnological Museum.

The most monumental part of the Hofburg
The New Burga, the youngest and most monumental part of the Hofburg, built from 1881 to 1913, houses the Museum of Ethnography and a branch of the Museum of Art History: the Ephesian Museum with Treasures of Ancient Asia Minor, the Court Hunting and Armory and a collection of ancient musical instruments.→

The New Castle is one of the largest buildings in Vienna
It was the first building on my sightseeing tour. The New Castle is one of the largest buildings in Vienna. In most of the New Wing of the Hofburg, the Austrian National Library is located: a reading room, a papyrus museum, a museum of globes. Also, this wing houses several departments of the Museum of Art History: the Esperanto Museum, the collection of weapons and armor (one of the most important collections of weapons in the world), the collection of ancient musical instruments, the ethnographic museum.→
