garden of dwarfs

gnome garden
Austria, Salzburg
The Dwarf Garden is located in Park Mirabell in Salzburg. The garden was created back in 1715, when 28 figures of dwarfs 50-70 centimeters high were installed here. Currently, only 15 of them remain, as Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria considered them ugly and sold them.

In 1715.28 funny figures of dwarfs were installed in the park. There is a version that the figures depicted all existing human vices. Alas, the crown prince Ludwig of Bavaria, who lived in the castle, categorically did not like the dwarfs, and most of the figurines were sold. According to the current tourist legend, each of the gnomes will give something to the one who rubs it. "Treasure Seeker" will bring you unexpected luck; "trade" - success in business; "water carrier" will add a fresh stream to your life, etc.
