The Church of Nossa Senhora da Luz is located near the Parque da Luz in the northern part of the city. It is an example of Brazilian architecture. The church was built in the 18th century entirely from clay. Now it houses the Museum of Religious Art, which presents a collection of more than 11 thousand exhibits, one way or another related to religion.
