The Church of the Prophet Elijah is an ancient Orthodox church of the XIV century, located on the top of the mountain, where, according to legend, the prophet Elijah lived. The church is faced with light stone, the entrance to the temple is made in the form of an arch. A bell tower rises above the church, the dome is crowned with a golden cross. In front of the temple there is a small observation platform, from where a beautiful view of the city opens.

little church

Small church, picturesque place. Reminds me of churches from old foreign films. Don't go there after a heavy meal - climbing stairs can be hard : ) It is especially beautiful in the evening.→
