I do not really like to visit various restaurant and folklore programs for the mass tourist. Usually they are made in haste, the artists are not professionals, and the food leaves much to be desired! So it was with the trip to Detinets. Strictly speaking, this is not quite a castle, more a country house in the hunting grounds of an aristocrat. There are weapons, animal heads. Everything is very carefully either preserved or restored, well, sometimes papier-mâ ché . After a tour of the palace, we go to a nearby brewery. She is trying to portray herself as a tavern during the Middle Ages. Wooden tables, chipped crockery. Dancing persons, not entirely clear age. The food is so-so. Great beer only! No complaints. So many Russian-speaking tourists were seated in the low halls that it was impossible to leave without lifting half of the hall. But in the next hall, tourists from Germany had a cultural rest. So they had a real theatrical performance.
It cost 25 euros per person. It was possible to pay in crowns. You need to have a very vivid imagination to mistake bad service for the Middle Ages. For 50 euros for two in Prague, you can spend time in a more pleasant place. ; points for the return transfer brought directly to the hotel! I do not recommend!
