The Hofbräuhaus (Court Brewery) is a world-famous large beer garden located on Platzl, not far from the central square of Marienplatz.

It opened as a court brewery for the Bavarian dukes in 1607. Since 1828, the brewery has been open to the public. The total number of seats in the restaurant is about 4,000.

Tasty not to eat, but there will be something to tell
I have never seen so many people in one pub in my life. And it was not dinner, but lunch! There are no portions of beer on the menu less than 1 liter, although they bring it upon request : -) It seems to me that all the cellars there are filled to the top with barrels of beer, because the spill of beer per day is estimated at tens of tons. The waiters are polite, fast and with a sense of humor. The beer is good, but the food is not good.→

Tourist place to drink beer
Pub in the central part of the city. Tourist noisy place. The whole situation with an emphasis on national flavor. Live music. There were no problems finding a place. Service is fast. The beer is good. I have no comments or complaints about Hofbrä uhaus : )→

An outright fake with a bad past.
Munich's Hofbrä uhaus is the most famous beer hall in the world, but that doesn't mean you should visit it. The glorious history of this institution, associated with the Bavarian dukes, Mozart and, damn it, Lenin ended on February 24.1920. On this day, Corporal Hitler founded the NSDAP in the main hall of the Hofbrä uhaus. The consequences are known to all. During the bombing of Munich, the American "Flying Fortresses" destroyed the beer building. And not immediately, but the third time.→
