A bronze monument to a cheerful and funny chimney sweep was opened on May 15, 2010 in the center of Tallinn on the square near the Savoy Boutique Hotel 5*. This is the work of the famous Estonian sculptor Tauno Kangro.
According to an old legend, the buttons of a chimney sweep's uniform have magical properties - and if you hold on to them and make a wish, it will surely come true. It is noteworthy that each of the 8 buttons of the Tallinn chimney sweep uniform has its own meaning and is responsible for a certain desire.
The monument has become an unofficial symbol of Tallinn.

Nice monument.

The monument to the chimney sweep was erected in Tallinn in 2010. It is located in the Old Town, on Karjavarava plats, opposite the cinema "Syprus" ("Friendship" in Estonian). So while in this wonderful city, don't miss the opportunity to rub the chimney sweep's button, as it is known to bring good luck : )→
