Colored Canyon

The Colored Canyon is located in the Sinai Mountains north of the city of Nuweiba. It was formed millions of years ago as a result of a break in the earth's crust, its length is 5 kilometers. The canyon has rocks of various colors due to inclusions of copper, cobalt, granite and corals. The combination of bright colors and varied patterns has made the canyon an extremely popular destination for tourists.

interesting to see
The canyon itself is quite interesting. Curious place. But everything that is connected with the excursion needs to be replaced. Jeeps - not comfortable to sit, the air conditioner does not reach the benches at the end of the car where you will go. The guide did not say that you need sports shoes, you can guess, but many came in slippers. The road to the place is quite bumpy, then how lucky you are with a horseman at the wheel. It can hold normally, or it can shake out the whole soul. The most unpleasant thing is that the tour comes in a set - ATVs, camels, swimming.→

A place for fans of the cartoon "The Lion King"
The place is just the bomb! ! A lot of impressions, delight and emotions! Highly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts. The elderly and children should not go, there are quite steep slopes. In general, I really liked it, it's a pity that there were no suitable shoes) well, it's hot)→

Is this the same canyon?
And it was like that. We really wanted to go on an excursion to the Colored Canyon. But the hotel guide, from whom we originally planned to take a tour, said that at the moment this is not possible, since it had recently rained and the road was washed out. We didn't believe him. Then it was my second time in Egypt, and for my companions - the first. And, accordingly, we had not so much information about the country. It seemed to us that there could be no rain in Egypt by definition. So we went to a street agency and asked them for this tour.→

a very beautiful place
A chic canyon, we got a lot of fun, the only thing that I don’t recommend to people of age, and not very athletic people, because there are quite difficult sections there, and you have to go there through the desert in a jeep, in principle, if you go to the canyon, consider it a jeep safari included : ). But it was worth it, we loved it→
