Barceloneta Beach is the main urban beach in Barcelona. It adjoins the historic Barceloneta district and is close to the Olympic Port. The beach, one of the ten cleanest in Europe, stretches for more than a kilometer. There are many football, tennis and volleyball courts here. Along the beach are numerous Catalan bars, restaurants and pizzerias.

A seaside resort enclave in the heart of a million-plus metropolis
Barceloneta itself is a kind of enclave of a seaside resort in the center of a million-plus metropolis. A strip of beaches and a street (leading to the metro) with cafes. The beaches are a wide strip of sand (of medium purity, by the way) not only without a single handel, but also without a single sun lounger (especially rows or clusters). Unseasonal Barceloneta
What to do on the sandy beach, which is considered one of the best urban beaches in Europe, in the "off season"? Yes, anything : ) Walk, breathe, read or enjoy the surrounding beauties. Take a walk along the promenade or delve into the back alleys of the streets away from the coast to see Barcelona as it was a century ago. And if you get hungry, you can have a bite to eat in one of the fish restaurants serving freshly caught seafood.→

The beach is like a football field :)
La Barceloneta is a very popular, noisy and fun beach for young people. The beach is so big that it seems that a small football field can fit on its territory. The sand is soft and pleasant, even in April we were not cold. Nearby are numerous restaurants, in one of them we had a pleasant lunch. The downside is that during the season, due to the large number of tourists, a queue is created for changing cabins and toilets. But the beach itself is amazing.→
