Port Olimpic was rebuilt before the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. The surroundings of the port were completely refurbished, new railways and parks were built. There are 740 berths, elegant restaurants, nightclubs, bars, hotels, shops and beaches. The main attractions of the Olympic Port are twin skyscrapers: an office tower and the Arts Barcelona Hotel. Near the port is Barceloneta Beach.

Contemporary art, sea, beach and other pleasures
Port Olympic is a wide embankment with works of modern art, two buildings that are officially considered the first skyscrapers built in Catalonia (on the left is the Hotel Arts Barcelona, ​ ​ a little to the right of the Mapfre office tower), the Parus high-rise hotel (El Hotel W Barcelona), sand, waves and a light breeze from the sea...A great place for jogging, walking and just lazy contemplation of the sunset over the sea.→

A striking example of contemporary art.
This port was completely built for the 1992 Olympics and this is the face of the city, which is seen by tourists arriving in Barcelona on boats and yachts, since it is also the Barcelona Marine Station. The port is beautiful - yachts, seagulls, turquoise sea and numerous fish restaurants. The famous sculpture "Fish" and the monument to the Olympics are also located here. There are expensive hotels, a wide promenade and beaches (including the most famous - Barceloneta). This part of the city is directly opposite to the historical one.→
