The botanical garden "Pinya de Rosa" in 1945 was laid out by civil engineer Fernando Riviere de Caralt. To date, the botanical collection of the garden includes more than 7,000 plant species, and all of them are unique in their own way. However, the main attention of the world scientific community among them is attracted by the collection of prickly pear, represented by no less than 18 genera, uniting at least 600 plant species. According to many scientists, it is the best in the world.

The landscape of "Pina de Rosa" amazes with heaps of picturesque rocks that were artificially installed to frame Opuntias and Platiopuntias, etc. In essence, these are huge beds made of stones. In total, 27 rocky zones are represented in the garden. All sorts of cacti in company with succulent plants that spread at the foot of the rocks create a landscape of fabulous beauty.

Wow
If you think that there is nothing special about cacti, you are wrong! It's incredibly beautiful, there is probably the coolest collection of cacti in the world! The sea view is great too. The entrance ticket is only 4 euros, if I were the leaders, I would raise the price a little.→
