Glowing fountain of Salou

The glowing fountain was designed in 1973 by engineer Carles Buigas, who is the author of the Magic Fountain in Barcelona . The program of the fountain includes 210 variations of the play of light and jets of water, replacing each other every one and a half minutes. It will take about five hours to see them all. The fountain is open from June to September and is located on the main city square, near King Jaime I Street.

The fountain show is something.
I saw various variations on the theme of "singing fountain", "dancing fountain". So the "glowing fountain" in Salou is something special in my rating of fountains. Very cool, really amazing. Get your seats early so you don't have to compete with the crowds to capture this wonder.→

Great, only the crowd
Unfortunately, you want to and can travel in the summer, just like everyone else, and this invariably means that you will always be accompanied by a noisy, happy, noisy and excited crowd of tourists like you. In the case of fountains, this does not interfere very much, but still I would like to see the performance without framing the heads and cameras of tourists) I really liked it, there are a few highlights that I had not seen before. And yes, it is much more interesting here in the evening. Joy for budget travelers - it's free entertainment!.→
