Plaza de Santa Ana is located in the historic center of the city, east of Plaza Mayor. It was formed in the middle of the 19th century on the site of the convent of Santa Ana. There are monuments to the outstanding writers Calderon and Garcia Lorca, the Espanyol Theater, and cozy cafes and restaurants along the perimeter.
