Reus wine station complex

Estación Enològica, Estación Enològica
Spain, Reus
The wine station complex in Reus was created with the aim of modernizing the wine production system due to the crisis that had engulfed the sector since the 1880s. The building of the complex was built in 1910 in Art Nouveau style by the great Catalan architect Pere Caselles. The central square-shaped building is lined with brick and decorated with floral and mosaic ornaments, images of leaves and bunches of grapes. On the facade of the house you can see the coat of arms of the School of Agricultural Engineers, surrounded by stylized branches of grapes and an olive tree.
