This mansion was built in 1530-1549 by order of Jacques Call, which was a senior nobleman in Orleans. After the death of King Francis II, the house for unknown reasons was owned by the authorities, and in the XVIII century the bodies of city government were placed in it. The building was reconstructed and attached, and in 1840. Opposite the entrance, a sculpture depicting Jeanne d’Arc, one of the main personalities in the history of Orleans and France, was installed.
