This museum is the former property of Neli Jacmar and Edward Andre, the heir to the Banker family and a great art lover. Together they gathered a collection of works of art in which there were paintings, sculptures, tapestries and art objects of the 18th century, as well as Italian painting, primitive art and the Renaissance, which was a passion. To demonstrate their collection, they decided to build a private mansion with perfect symmetry. Already in those days, their house was used to demonstrate a collection of works of art at lush parties and secular raautes.
